Former Viking and Spartan Player, Robert (Robbie) Lacoste passed away a few days ago. Funeral details and obituary are attached.

The city of Pointe-Claire just informed us that Valois Park will not be ready for this weekend after they confirmed yesterday it would be, we are postponing the tournament to a later date to be determined, we will advise when asap

Great deals this weekend at West Island Sports Excellence

We've had another outstanding season this year. The league was very competitive, the tournament was a huge success, and the weather has been great. The Finals start tonight with The Dukes taking on Delibees at 7:30pm at Valois Park. Game 2 is tomorrow night at 7:30pm. Come cheer the guys on!

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in the 2018 Pointe Claire Charity softball tournament. Once again the weather cooperated and a good time was had by all. Through the hard work of our many volunteers from the league and the community, and the generosity of the players and their families, we were able to raise $10,000 again this year for the Al & Millie DeSouza foundation at the Fondation de l'Hôpital général du Lakeshore - LGH Foundation. All of this money will go directly to the advancement of patient care. I would also like you to join me in thanking the other members of the tournament organizing committee; Derek Lucas, Jay Rivers, Mike MacDougalland Tim McCarthy. Without their efforts, none of this would be possible.

All the spots are taken in this year’s tournament. We will have 8 men’s teams, 6 alumni/rec teams and six mixed teams, schedule to come in the next couple of days. As usual we will be looking for volunteers to help Bbq, sell tickets and serve refreshments. See you all Father’s day weekend.

This is the 35th year of our tournament and it’s a great place to see some old friends and meet new ones. We still have a couple of spots left for mixed teams and Alumni/Rec teams. We will also be looking for volunteers to sell Tickets and work the bar. Message me If you’re interested in entering a team or volunteering.
