Time is running out. Long Beach Country Club wants to show our Niagara educators how appreciated they are with a free round of golf (9 holes) this Wednesday July 10. If you are an educator in the DSBN or Niagara Catholic District School Board, call 289-821-6888 to register. They will also be collecting non-perishable food items for Food4Kids Niagara that day.

The Rotary Club St. Catharines Lakeshore is hosting a food drive on behalf of Food4Kids Niagara. What a great way to end the work day. This awesome group of kids from CDKN came by to drop off a $700 donation to help feed the children in our program. It doesn't get better than kids helping kids. Thank you so much!

Had the absolute pleasure of and her friends joining me to help package food for over 500 students this weekend. These ladies hustled and might have set a new record for the quickest pack (or at least it felt that way...). Such a joy to spend some time with these women - come back again soon!

Who doesn't want to start their morning with Pi(e)? Well, maybe not in the face, but that is exactly what happened when the good people at ServiceMaster Restore of Niagara agreed to get a pie in the face in exchange for donations to Food4Kids Niagara. Big thanks to all those that voted, the incredible team at ServiceMaster Restore of Niagara and also to Mini Binz for their fantastic $1000 donation! Such a fun way to start the morning. Happy Pi day everyone.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Pi-Day celebration via social media and for making this activity come to fruition.

Our goal was to make this day something special by donating to a charity that does so well in our community and one that we feel highly of. 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚 gave a donation of $1000 to Food4Kids Niagara on behalf of those who voted. We graciously received an additional $1000 donation from Mini Binz that will also be donated. 🤝

Happy to announce that Food4Kids Niagara will be hosting our first ever Paddle Party! Huh? What the heck is a Paddle Party? It's a cross between an auction and a raffle where you can 'bid' a toonie to win a prize of your choice. All prizes have a minimum $100 value. Join us on January 26 at Club Roma for a super fun, fast paced night of bidding all in support of kids in Niagara. Tickets are only $15 or $120 for a table of 8. Calling all Ghouls and Goblins! Join Port Dalhousie Beautification and Works Committee this coming Sunday, October 29 for the annual B.W.C Halloween Parade!

Starting at 11:00am the Parade begins at the Food4Kids Niagara tent, located between Dalhousie House & The Captain's Cabin. Thank you in advance to all the volunteers who make this annual event possible!

A couple of our AMAZING volunteers also happen to have a hobby farm with an apple orchard. They are kind enough to provide our kids with 2-3 apples per week until their trees are bare. Look at the size of these monsters (placed beside a store bought apple for comparison). Forever grateful for their support and friendship.

and their Blue Wave volunteers donated some time to help assemble food packages and ensure that children in Niagara that are experiencing food insecurity are nourished this weekend. Thankful for this partnership and their dedication to the community.

Looking to do a good deed today? Rotary Club St. Catharines Lakeshore is hosting TWO food drives to support our kids today. Go visit them and drop an item or two into the bin and start your weekend on a positive note! You can find them at No Frills at 581 Lake St. and No Frills at 525 Welland Avenue in St. Catharines. Great morning at the in Port Dalhousie! Our longtime supporter and volunteer has been fighting breast cancer and today we celebrate her story. So many great people here today continuing Terry's legacy. Always nice to have Bones from the and Dunkin from the drop by our snack tent too!

Long Beach Country Club held their annual Roger Belanger Memorial golf tournament last weekend and brought together an incredible group of people who happily donated money and food in support of hungry kids in Niagara. They raised almost $12,000 that day - enough funds to support our program in one school for an ENTIRE year. At least 20 children are going to bed with full tummies because this group chose to help. Incredibly grateful!
