We took a family adventure to view and experience the total solar eclipse yesterday. We drove down to near Port Colborne on Lake Erie hoping to have clearer skies and a longer time in totality. We had some parting of the clouds and got some great views of the eclipse and the near 4 minutes of nighttime darkness during totality was absolutely incredible. An experience on so many levels. It was so lovely to share this with Violante and Maite and we spent some great hours in Nature, as well as in traffic 😉

Maite’s first day of Junior Kindergarten!!! One of the only rules after returning from Italy was that Maite couldn’t go to school for 14 days, so that means for the past two weeks here in Canada we’ve been keeping her busy and preparing for today…the big day. She was super excited this morning and very brave when we arrived at the playground this morning to meet her new teacher and classmates. After lots of hugs and kisses she was off!! We’re so proud of you Maite and excited for your new adventure!! XOXOX

Together again!! After 4 weeks apart; Violante and Maite in Italy and Andrew back at home in Toronto, we were all reunited when Andrew bought a secret airplane ticket and showed up at a seaside rental house as a surprise!!

Pancake breakfast in bed for this Super Mamma on Mother’s Day and for our little one Maite on her Birthday party day!! It’s a big day celebrating these two incredible women. Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there and to our home Mother Earth. None of us would be here without our mother’s, so let’s celebrate them today and every other day!!
