Dinner dets on my website www.swallowtail.ca Elderberry starts blooming in early spring in higher elevations and then flowering moves down in elevation as the season progresses. I only harvest the flowers on this plant as the other parts are not edible.

Went morel picking this weekend again and there are still edible mushrooms all over the place. What a great year for mushroom picking! Hope this video helps you find your own morels. Please remember to be respectful of the environment and not leave any trash in areas that you harvest. It's a real problem. Also check that you are allowed to harvest in an area before you go and tell someone where you are as many people get lost easily in the bush.
