🌲Cedar wood: a timeless choice for your outdoor projects.

While it commands a higher initial cost and demands regular sealing for optimal durability, its resistance to rotting and insects ensures lasting beauty.

Despite occasional cracking and splintering, with proper care, cedar can endure for 15-20 years. Embrace its natural elegance, knowing that while it may stain and scratch easily, its enduring charm makes it a worthy investment for your outdoor oasis 🏡

🏡 Here is a brief checklist of tips to follow when staining and sealing your deck:

1️⃣ Wait at least 48 hours for your deck to dry after cleaning.

2️⃣ Check the weather.
Look at the weather forecast to be sure you have a period of dry weather so you can safely apply your stain or sealer.

3️⃣ Remove plants or furnishings from your deck and cover with plastic. If you have any furniture, potted plants or other items on your deck, remove them before staining.

4️⃣ Sand your deck.
This step is optional but recommended if you have not sanded your deck in a while and there are multiple layers of sealer or stain that have built up on the surface of your deck.

5️⃣ Apply stain or sealer to a clean deck. After sanding your deck, be sure to sweep away the dust and grit.

🙋‍♀️Why interlock is a better choice for your patio:

1️⃣Factory manufacturing ensures better control over the final result, maintaining the structure and color as initially chosen.

2️⃣Interlock is resistant to temperature changes, preventing cracks, and allows for easy replacement of damaged parts.

3️⃣In case of underground utilities repairs, you simply lift up a required area of interlock and reinstall it back after repairs are done VS cutting, removals and patching of concrete or asphalt surfaces.

Step 1: Power wash the surface to remove stains and debris, ensuring to clear unwanted fragments between joints 🍃

Step 2: Fill the gaps between paving stones with polymeric sand. Simply pour it onto the surface and sweep it around with a broom 🧹

Step 3: Mist the stones with water to settle the polymeric sand and keep the stones in place ⏳

Polymeric sand forms a strong bond, preventing erosion and inhibiting w**d growth.

With these simple steps, your interlock surface will maintain its curb appeal for years to come 🏡
