Suburban Motors FINALLY finished fixing my van today.....got my year end crap into the accountant....I even got a bunch of work done today despite....and now I can relax a bit!!! No Karate for me tonight....

is having a minor melt down as tax time approacheth....

A word on water heaters

I read an article today in The Onion...it was written by a union plumber who apparently had a bad experience at some point in his life. He called into question the quality and professionalism of non-union plumbers...in fact he went as far to say that non-union plumbers will s**g your wife if you aren't careful...

New tank, new pan and piping and mess all cleaned up.

Now what????

Right...16 year old tank is leaking and needs to be replaced. Left....25 year old tank abandoned 16 years ago cuz some lazy ass plumber didn't want to get it down from the ceiling. I will also mention the black iron cap plugging the whole where the relief valve use to be....surprisingly that is not what leaked.

looking forward to tomorrow...day 23 without a day off work...as tomorrow brings me another day closer to a day off work...

Dang! The other day...when the wind was blowing...I opened my van door to get out...and the wind tore the door from my hand...now my door opens a little further than before. Perhaps if I was a built like some plumbers and needed the room this would be ok. However that is not the case and the twisted metal around the hinges is a concern...;(

is ringing in the new year with work work work....gotta go gotta go!!!

Well the race is on! 35 toilets to replace before the year ends. Along with all the other work, it is going to be a busy holiday season. Merry Christmas to everyone and all the best for the new year.

Well here it is!!! the new logo...I have already been told it looks more like a restaurant menu logo than a plumbing company...I will take that to mean Tastey Plumber!

is very pleased as he finally got a Panasonic Toughbook for the van!!! albeit somewhat used...

has just come to the conclusion that it (that is me) has too much work this week to have taken half the day off today....bah!! Qu'ils mangent de la brioche!

Looks like we (we being me) might have about 40 toilets to replace in 2 commercial buildings next month!!! Looks like I will be able to start buying groceries again,,,yay!!!

is still working on logo design....will be done soon!! very soon it will be done and I can move on from the rhombicuboctahedron....
