Ross' work is so special, with each individual object its own piece of paper - down to the buttons. This collage draws from set design, bringing the world to life with all the little details. Petite Hotel is the behind the scenes of a very special meal. You have got to take a look in person to really capture the magic!

Our Valentines Day exhibition, Objects of Affection: reflecting on affection, attraction and exploring all the ways love can be seen, is coming back this year in our new .garden.space🪴

We would love to see your work, it is open to everyone not just Sweetpea artists. Here are the details:

- Submissions due February 1st at 11:59PST.
- Works can be 2D and/or 3D.
- Limit of five submissions per artist
- 30% commission on sold works, processed within 30 days of the close of the show.

more U-Shapes, in paper

Baptismal, 2019——a shapeshifting work represented by Sweetpea since 2020.

I’ve been working with these U-Shapes since 2018. My U-Shape practice is an ongoing, connected series of intermedial works that utilise distinct semiotic visuals to identify, upend and communicate the inaccessibility that disabled people navigate in conventional social environments.

U-Shapes begun with an evolving study of set theory, a branch of Euclidean geometry utilised in metamathematics; I’ve produced organic homages to symbols such as the intersection, the subset and the union.

through U-Shapes, I engage with the discipline consciously outside of the savant associated with mathematics, Autism, worth and elective value. The U-Shapes project hopes to detract math from symbolic of exceptionalism within the Autistic community; math revoked from reductionist contexts.
