Carolyn Knight, Victoria, BC Videos

Videos by Carolyn Knight in Victoria. My work is informed by urgency to connect to ideas about place, shared human need for natural world.

Lie Down for Lansdowne, a Community Watershed Action, March-13-2022.
A big Thank You to Tiffany Joseph for starting us off in a good way, sharing concepts of balance, cooperation, for the lands and waters in her WSANEC and Lekwungen homeland territories throughout the Salish Sea.

I dreamed up and co-created, collaboratively organized to raise the stakes, imagining a Stream of Blankets demonstrating community concern for THAYWUN, Bowker Creek Watershed lands.

A portion of SD61 Board of Trustees ignored 20 years of real consultation, expertise on needed climate adapting strategies, jamming through 3rd reading Monday March-14-2022, voting to sell a floodplain. If common sense flies out the window, it's time Orca Whales fly the skies over THAYWUN / Bowker Creek !

Thank you Community-heart-minded folks, and @Camosun Community Association, @Friends of Bowker Creek, thanks Canadian Orca Rescue Society; thank you @Colin Smith Takes Pics for fab aerial footage.
And OH: dreamers...keep on dreaming
