Passed my advanced flight exam today! Officially a fully certified drone pilot!

Rebranding has been an ongoing process the last few weeks. The time that I've had I've been putting into logo design. Thanks so much to Audrey, Erik, Steve and Terry for being extra eyes in this process.

The focus of the logo was fun, whimsical, while still being able to break down into easier to understand varieties. I didn't want anything too 'corporate' since...well...that's not really me.

I had wanted to showcase my prop building, drone work, and photography...but as you can see through some of the designs it was getting a bit busy.

Next step...web design revision!!

And so it begins 🙂

New year, new gear!

I’ll be starting my drone journey in the next few weeks, doing a few test flights before going ahead to get fully certified!

Also in the works - the change over to mirrorless (gasp!), updating my 11 year old Mac, and building a video rig. Bring it on!

Hey everyone!

It's been a long time coming, but I'm happy to report that things are getting back to normal.

For those of you who didn't know, I've been a teacher in the public school system for about 13 years and have recently moved on to teaching at Camosun College.

This move has given me the opportunity to better balance my time, and exercise my creative side once again.

Covid was not kind to many freelancers, so now that events are coming back, it's a perfect time to rebrand and start fresh. I'm looking to change up my services, still focusing primarily on corporate work, but I'm going to really start pushing videography, starting with getting my pilot's license and drone certification.

I also want to showcase a lot of the prop building that I do, and try to get into social media a bit more to create tutorials.
