I’ve been absent from this page and I’m trying to return intentionally. Photography is such a large part of my identity but I’m in school exploring other interests and it is hard to be present here. At some point school and creativity will merge but I’m not there yet. So, here’s to slow and steady for now. I do have some images to share and soon dates will be confirmed for Moss Street this spring.
Hanging out at today at 1923 Fernwood Rd…. Last minute Christmas Fair for me and last one of the year!!
“You don’t have to forgive yourself or them” …. Sometimes messages are hidden right under our feet and hit us at the right moment.
Finally back at Moss Street Market today on the brisk autumn-feeling Saturday.
Last Moss Street market before I have a long break to find more exciting images to photograph. Today until 2pm . .
I’m at Moss Street Market today until 2:30!! Woot, first market of the year!! Come say hi!
‘All My Relations’ is a beautiful totem that I was honoured to photograph at an Indigenous event a number of years ago. It was carved by Master Carver Jack La Sah Timothy and is located in the UBC grounds. It represents the past, present and future. It is my intention to share this story on National Indigenous Day.

Pride month is here!!
Today is Red Dress Day to mark awareness around MMIWG2S+. The 231 Calls for Justice are for everyone not just government. Reading the stories of the survivors is one way of honouring those lost. Take a moment and find their stories in the National Inquiry’s Final Report.
As we celebrate the 128th International Workers’ Day, on this glorious spring Sunday, remember that weekends, 8 hour days and so many social benefits came from the actions of union activists over the last 100+ years.
My happy place.
Cleaning out files always leads to falling down rabbit holes… and then I come across sweet compositions that make me smile.
Supporting community efforts to stop the sale of school district 61-Lansdowne land parcel and save Bowker Creek watershed from development. Woot🙌🏻🙌🏻.
To the next generation of powerful beings who are 100X more in tune with themselves and the universe, I feel hopeful.
Meandering images from Christmas Day 2021. Covid canceled all our family gathering plans. Walks helped bring some purpose to our days.
Happy ♥️ day on this crisp February 14.
Another instalment of “Things that make me smile” while meandering through neighbourhoods in Victoria.
Going for meanders with my camera on dry days these past couple of months. “Things that make me smile” is a collection of random fun finds that I am ready to share every few days. Since living the life of a hermit these wanders are very necessary.
Making more cow Christmas cards on the sly as they are selling quickly today ! Thanks everyone!
I’m ready for the Moss Street Christmas Market this weekend. I hand painted some cards to give them some Christmas pizazz 😁. Wait to you see the cows!! See you Saturday/Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm.
I have photographed this family from their engagement shoot, through to their wedding and then babies. Their kids aren’t babies anymore and I love that they want me to remain a part of their lives through photography. Cheers to this forest dwelling family.
Seeing the sun after what feels like endless rain is absolutely glorious. I love finding beauty among the bare branches especially after a storm.
December 3-5, Vancouver, is the fabulous . I’m super excited to be a vendor at this unique and festive Christmas Market. Woot!!
My table mate at the Oakland’s Winter Market is my youngest who made these darling wee houses.
