October is Polio Month, a time to reflect on the incredible strides we’ve made in the fight against this debilitating disease. For over 35 years, Rotary International has been at the forefront of global polio eradication efforts, contributing more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries from polio. Thanks to these efforts, polio cases have been reduced by 99.9%, bringing us closer than ever to a polio-free world. As we raise awareness this month, it's crucial to recognize that the work is not yet done. Continued vaccination efforts are vital to preventing polio from re-emerging in regions that have been declared polio-free. Together, we can ensure that no child suffers from this preventable disease.

Last week, our Club volunteered at the MBSS Mental Health Walk for high school students, and we had a blast!
