In honour of Canadian Mental Health Week, we’re thrilled to announce our upcoming collaborative beer in partnership with Sarah Symeses & CMHA North & West Vancouver Branch – BE KIND BUTTERFLY FLOWER LAGER. BE KIND BUTTERFLY FLOWER LAGER is a citra hopped lager that uses Butterfly Pea Flower to give the brew herbal notes & a purple tone, a symbol of peace and international unity. We will be contributing partial proceeds from every can sold towards the Canadian Mental Health Association North and West Vancouver Branch to fund mental wellness initiatives throughout the sea-to-sky corridor. This beer celebrates the artwork of Squamish artist Sarah Symes, whose design was recently recognized by the United Nations as part of their Global Call Out To Creatives to help stop the spread of COVID. The piece was used to symbolize global solidarity with the colours of the rainbow representing world flags and the hand-drawn shape reflecting our imperfect human nature during a time when it’s so important to be kind to each other. As an added bonus, thanks to our friends Summit Labels you’ll be able to peel off the artwork featured on each can to double as a sticker allowing you to spread the Be Kind message. BE KIND BUTTERFLY FLOWER LAGER will be launching later this month, stay tuned for more information on where to find this brew.
