Happy Thanksgiving. I’m super thankful for my amazing family, friends and customers that have supported Happy Joy in its first year. I’m grateful for a jam packed day filled with family and food. I’m blessed to have such an amazing and healthy family to celebrate it with.

LAST DAY at the Brooklin Farmers’ Market for and I. It’s been SO much fun and we are thankful and grateful for all of our amazing customers. It’s not the best day for weather, but come by say hi and bye. The Floral Farmer is selling the last of her Dahlia’s and the cutest little pumpkin centre pieces. I have my usual collection with a Christmas and Holiday card sneak peek!!!

Today, I will be taking time to reflect on our collective history and acknowledge the past and ongoing experiences of Indigenous Peoples and communities. I am committed to doing my part towards truth and reconciliation. Today I will wear Orange to show my solidarity with those who are lost, survivors, their families and communities. I will also begin to research and learn, including reading the 94 Calls to action from The 2015 Truth and a reconciliation Commission. I really enjoyed making this custom order. A customer saw the Lunchtime Love Notes and asked if I could make a version that would suit their workplace. They work in children’s mental health and wanted to leave these sweet notes on their colleagues desk. I hope these notes bring joy and happiness on the tough days. ❤️
