Length: 2 Hours

Cost: $150.00

Location: In-Person within Windsor-Essex County or Online Shopping via Zoom. I have pre-set retailers we will shop at, or any retailer to your preference.

What You Will Receive: Questionnaire prior to appointment, 1:1 shopping, a beautiful new space! I do request photos/video of your space to get started.

A beautiful living space refresh for my clients.

What is a refresh?

A room “refresh” is a service that utilizes some of your current furniture and accessories, and small updates are made to give your room a new look, without the hefty price tag.

We kept the coffee table, sofa and accent chairs. We updated the curtains, pillows, throw, table lamp, rug and accent pieces. We applied a fresh coat of paint to brighten the space and VOILA!

When you’re placing pillows in a space, do not feel like everything has to match. Mixing florals, stripe and solid prints create variation in the space. As long as they all fall within the same colour palette in the space, it will look great!

This cute nook features soft blue and coral tones, but I played around with a fun wallpaper print, and mixed up the pillows by keeping a similar colour palette yet all different styled pillows.

Who else loves a good before and after?

We transformed this outdated living room into a comfy welcoming space that allowed my client to showcase his decor collected throughout his travels without cluttering the room. Built-ins were added for extra storage, and a large sectional to entertain his guests.

I had a discovery call today for a little girl who is about to get a room makeover, so naturally I dug into my photo archives to pull up this beauty of a room.

We are planning on having my clients daughter be involved in the design process every step of the way, how exciting?! So how would an in-home consultation look like when involving children?

1. Making everything visual. Letting them see fabric and paint and wallpaper samples in person, allowing them to feel the textures with their hands.
2. Pre-populated Pinterest board dedicated to them, this gives them a chance to scroll and give feedback on what they like and don’t like.
3. LISTENING! I listen to them the entire time so that I can give them a space tailored to them!
4. Go through all of their hobbies and favourite books/movies, anything they might want to see in their space.
5. Added availability. I want to make sure children are present at site visits, so I always add openings on Saturdays or Sundays to accommodate.

Inserting this beautiful porch decor setup I did last month. The covered porch allows for all of the nicest decor to stay out throughout the season.

This week has just flown by! The end of the year has been so busy between designing, appointments, phone calls, emails, Christmas gift purchasing and all the holiday events with my kiddies in-between.

I am really looking forward to slowing down over the Christmas break to spend time with my family and enjoy the holidays together.

It’s December 1st!

I feel like I’m not fully into the Christmas spirit until December 1st rolls around.

I’m excited to share some festive content this month, as I’ve been quite the busy elf out and about getting some content for you! A huge thank you to friends, family and clients who let me add some holiday spirit to their homes.

I’m also going to be sharing our Elf on the Shelf throughout the month on my stories, anyone else have one for their littles? Ours is making their debut after school today 🎄

I loved designing this Muskoka cottage living space.

And guess what? This design service was done VIRTUALLY!

Curious how it’s done? READ BELOW!

1. Clients submitted original photos, space measurements and budget.
2. Clients shared inspirational images on collaborative Pinterest board.
3. Virtual meetings discussing WANTS and MUST HAVES. We also discussed any current items that will remain in the space.
4. Virtual proposal presented 1 week after initial consultation. Virtual design presentation was presented 6 weeks after initial proposal.
5. Presented approved design virtually with contractor and provided all specs. Spec book was assembled and shipped to client.
6. Virtual site visits with contractor AND client.
7. Final product! This space, even down to pillow placement was specified to give my clients that complete look.

A little room refresh for my client’s son. We swapped out vibrant red walls and a toddler bed with fresh walls and new furniture.

We made sure her son was involved in all of the selections, and he is so excited about his new “grown up” room!

A nice mudroom area off the side entrance for my clients. Their house had a lot of white throughout, so I designed this area with some deeper tones to bring some warmth to the space.
