I was just thinking about the Crow movie remake when I realized that the original story and Robocop share similar premises.
A dead man returns from the grave to take bloody revenge against the gang that killed him.
Both Murphy and Eric were shot in the head, paralyzed and later died in the hospital before being resurrected as an unstoppable killing machine obsessed with wiping out criminals.
This is easily the best anti-virus commercial ever!
I wish my kid would write something as touching about me and my friends.
They probably would mention the smell of farts.
Here's this week's comic for you! Enjoy the weekend, everyone, and for those of you attending Romics, see you on Sunday! 🤘
Is it wrong that I now NEED to hear this song?
This sounds… weird… not that it couldn’t work without the keyboards but… weird…
Some dude on the internet has erased Eddie Van Halen's keyboard parts from Jump and it's winning him no friends For some unfathomable reason, someone has wiped the keyboard parts from Van Halen mega-hit Jump, and it sounds f**king weird, frankly
I watched the first four episodes of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman on Netflix today with the WifeGeek.
I am very pleased with the translation. There were a few changes that were a little jarring but it was just enough of a change from the source material to keep me invested and left me wondering where the story was going from here.
I'm not worried about the story at all as Neil Gaiman has had his hand in the series from the very start and is very invested in seeing it properly translated.
For those wondering about the status of the podcast, it’s on indefinite hiatus while my family and I try to navigate some difficult times.
I refuse to give up on the podcast, I love what I’ve created, but the events of the last several months have convinced me I need to focus on my family and most importantly my wife.
I am not going to give myself a timeline for when the podcast will return as that will just create more stress for myself but I do plan on returning.
There are currently three episodes that I have recorded that I have not yet published. I will endeavour to get them finished and put up… eventually…
This is creepy as hell but also cool. I mean, come on, NECROBIOTICS!?!?
Yes, Scientists Turned Dead Spiders into Robot Gripping Claws Mechanical engineers devised a way to push air into dead spiders in order to reanimate them as a grabbing device. But why?
Opening act was Emo Phillips. Now that I’m going to hell for laughing I’m fully primed for Weird Al.
I’m currently at the historic Burton Cummings theatre in downtown Winnipeg to cross an item off my bucket list. Tonight I’m seeing "Weird Al" Yankovic live for the first time in my life. I remember listening, and forcing my mother to listen, to Weird Al in the car. Tapes taped off of friends tapes.
I’ve been a Weird Al fan all my life but never had money for tickets when he rolled through Winnipeg.
This is a momentous occasion for me and I love my wife, who is sitting beside me, for buying me tickets for Christmas.
I’m super excited because a bucket list concert is at hand! The Killer Dwarfs are due to appear at the Bulldog Event Center here in Winnipeg in August.
I’ve wanted to see the Dwarfs live since my teens when I first started listening to the band.
To get myself hyped I’m going to be re-re-listening to the bands catalog. This morning it was Big Deal.
Also, I was honoured to have had a chance to interview Darrell Dwarf earlier this year alongside Sean and Todd on the seangeekpodcast. Listen to the episode by clicking the link below!
