Reposted from Hey Everyone
I'm here to reintroduce myself. I'm Nikki and have been a stylist for over 15 years. My fiance and I have been together almost 11years and have two amazing dogs.
I'm also a color educator for Lanza, which is a color/product line we use in salon. I thrive doing Blonding, Color & Corrective work. I love learning, I'm constantly taking classes online that ensure the most UpTo date techniques, theory knowledge and never shy away from growing. Knowledge is power, I want to share it with everyone.
I'm very meticulous in everything I do. I find reward in not just transforming my clients but also educating them and bringing them on the journey. My passion is making your hair dreams come true and I can't imagine anything else I'd rather be doing. It's important to find a stylist that is proficient but also creative, someone that listens and articulates so you can feel assured you're in the right hands. I believe my work speaks for itself and will continue to keep myself educated in all things hair color to deliver quality and style to all my clients.

HOME | nikkimarkowski Nikki has been my hair stylist for over 10 years! She is confident, friendly and extremely skilled. I would highly recommend her for a cut, color or style!

Creating this warm blonde look took more effort then my usual cool tones. I had to really push myself to trust my gut and my formulation. It's easy and comfortable to keep doing the same thing. It's more productive and creative to push yourself to try new things.

So important to remember!

My Client surprised me with wanting a total makeover! Post pregnancy had her growing out her hair and all of a sudden, she booked in for highlights.
Instead, we decided to totally shake up the usual and do a full bleach out.
_________
In picture number two you'll see that she's got over a year of growth. It's not a simple add lightener to the new growth and process.
_________
Step 1:
20 volume to mid shaft up ( cold area) to 1 inch within root area. (The cold shaft will take longer to process than the hot root area so doing this first allows for a more seamless bleach out. ) After applying that whole head with fine sections leaving out the root, ( took about an hour) then go in with 20 vol and do the root ( hot area). Process 40 min after final application area at root.
_________
Step 2: SHAMPOO ultimate treatment then remove as much moisture as possible and towel dry. Well, considering how light she is naturally you'd think we'd be done and ready to tone ? WRONG. She barely budged past a highlighter yellow/gold level 8. Luckily I had done the midshaft first so the root and the midshaft were much closer together in tone.
_________
Step 3 : we know she has fine hair and we don't want to over process her or damage the hair she has currently. So, I go in with a damp root application with 20 volume and run it through the ends too for 45 min. Doing it on damp hair allows me to add a heavy amount of ultimate treatment and healing oil to help protect the ends from over processing while I re lighten everything and damp hair help it stay slow and steady with more movement of lightener
__________
Step 4:
Rinse, ultimate treatment and TONE!
Using lanza liquids to maintain depth and rich shiny tonality but to keep irritation to a minimum on the scalp due to small amount of ammonia in our permanent color can irritate any sensative scalp ( 2 bleach outs on any hair can make anyone sensative)
TONER: 09P (2 oz)/010G 1 (oz)/08A (.5 oz)+010A (.5 oz) 20 min process . Hair in great condition
___________
Step 5:
Shampoo/condition with color care and dry and cut off 6 inches of postpartum baby grabbing hair
___________

Total process took 4 hours 04/30/2021

To my dearest loyal clients, I hate the idea that I have to stop doing what I love and wait idly by while this pandemic continues to wreck havoc. That being said, if we stay positive this can be turned around I'm sure in no time!..

Thank you again for all your love and support as soon as we get the clear to go back to work, I'll be in contact and booking and working tirelessly.
