Presented by the Advertising Association of Winnipeg, the 2021 Signature Awards recently honoured our work with a win in the following category: Digital Film (Single or Series). The Client Niverville has become one of the province’s fastest-growing communities. A thriving, vibrant, closely-knit town, the town aims to increase its population to 10,000 by 2030 and to 25,000 within the next 25 years. The Challenge The Friends of Niverville were tasked with raising funds for the construction of a new $20-million community centre. An array of complementary marketing and communications deliverables—both online and traditional—were needed to help focus the interest of businesses and residents alike on donating to this landmark project. The 6P Solution Among other deliverables, 6P developed two non-broadcast spots to highlight the space-related challenges residents currently faced—to humorous extremes—which would be solved when the new community centre opened its doors. The yoga- and pottery-themed spots quickly achieved an admirable reach, kickstarting a fundraising drive that neared completion within just 12 months. The Client The Canadian Canola Growers Association (CCGA) strives to influence national and international issues, programs, and policies to bolster the success of Canada’s canola farmers. The Challenge The CCGA wanted to optimize new market opportunities, which included increasing biofuel consumption (an alternative to fossil fuels sourced from canola oil) in the national diesel supply. The 6P Solution We developed online ads targeted at farmers and government officials. Two key messages were prioritized: first, increasing biofuels in the national diesel supply means more market opportunities for Canadian farmers; and second, increasing biofuels means a marked reduction in GHG emissions. The Client Fort Garry Brewing Company has crafted beers in Manitoba since the 1930s, making them long-standing pioneers of craft beer in Manitoba. The Challenge Despite its strong name recognition, the company wanted to strengthen its appeal with younger craft beer lovers in the now ultracompetitive craft beer space. The 6P Solution 6P developed a Fort Garry Dark campaign featuring a short commercial targeted to existing and new consumers. Die-hard fans saw a beautiful pour of their favourite dark beer, while new audiences saw a lifestyle spot capturing the energy of the recent rebrand.
