So this is it folks, the last ever weekend of The Clubhouse in it's current form is upon us. Sad times indeed but we're gonna make sure we go out with a bang !!

It only seems right that John Barry's gonna be playing tunes tonight and Faye McAdemy's gonna be playing us out tomorrow night (open till late)

Try and come down... it means a lot to us. We've had a blast over the last 11 years and sincerely hope this isn't the end of the road but either way we've gotta make sure we have a proper send off to finish things off.

First & foremost, a massive thank-you 🙏 for all the cool messages of support and appreciation since we broke the news of our impending closure. It's genuinely appreciated and helps us move on with things.

As I've said a few times this week, yes it is sh*t and we're pretty gutted about it but it's been a fun ride, we've learnt a lot and now it's time to move on to see what the future holds...

First though, it's time to make sure we give this place the send off it deserves over the next 16 days. We've had so many good times here, met so many great people, heard great music and watched one or two decent games of sport - we feel it only right to make sure we go out in style.

We've scheduled 3 leaving dos over the next 2 weekends plus one midweeker, all with live music and the same good cheer & revelry we've become known for over the years. We hope you can all make it down as after all, it's you guys whoreally made this place what it is. Really looking forward to see you here (at least) one last time before the end.

Before all that though, to mark the occasion we're going to be having a few drinks here tonight if you're around. Geoff & I might even buy a round or two? Live music from 9:00 ish. 😁🍻🍾🎸

We'll also be continuing to show all the summer sport including the Women's World Cup, Copa America and the Cricket World Cup .

Dear Friends & Customers,

Regrettably I’m writing to inform you of the sad news that The Clubhouse is going to be closing at the end of this month.

Needless to say we’re pretty gutted about it and despite fighting our corner over the last few months, we’ve conceded defeat and we’ll be pulling our last pints in a few weeks time

Geoff and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your custom and company over the last 11 years which we have enjoyed thoroughly.

We hope to have at least a couple of closing parties between now and then and we look forward to seeing you all then.
