Who, what, why

I am a painter who paints with scissors. I have no “style”, the outcome always depends on what material I can find. As for the bio : Born in 1941 from a Jewish mother in Germany. I started painting at 15, took some instruction and lost my inspiration. I have been making collages since 1967, but daily from 2006 on, since my retirement from teaching art. Collage inspires me every day to make another new image that surprises me, gives me to think, by the means of new combinations. I don’t feel like belonging to any school or artistic movement, hate routine work, I just go my own little private way. I also make in-camera double exposures which complement my work as they are kind of digital collages. If you want to buy one of my collages please contact me. I’ll be delighted.
