Flashback on a Celebration of Learning event for our Year 6 La Grande Boissière students. At Ecolint, we believe that learning should be a joyful journey, with students encouraged to explore and develop a genuine comprehension, rather than merely memorise facts. By fostering a love for learning, we prepare our students to become curious, thoughtful, and knowledgeable individuals.
Continuing our Centenary series on the roots of international education, Conrad Hughes, Ecolint's Director General, explores the power and impact of constructivist pedagogy. Discover how the school's pioneering founders recognised the potential of constructivism 100 years ago, at a time when most classrooms relied on rigid, lecture-based learning and rote memorisation.

This week is all about Sports at Ecolint and we couldn’t be prouder that Balcerzak, one of our staff members, is joining the badminton Olympics team as Team Athlete Leader and will be coordinating athletes in the management and planning of training sessions and warm-ups in the Olympic arena, liaising closely with the medical team in place.
As we all know, engaging children in sports is vital for their overall development. Sports not only promotes physical health by keeping young people active, but it also fosters essential life skills and values. Through sports, children learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. They experience the highs and lows of competition, which teaches them resilience and the value of hard work.
The Olympic Games serve as a global stage that highlights these very values. Just like the athletes who compete, children in sports learn about fair play, respect for others, and the pursuit of excellence. The Olympics inspire young athletes to dream big, set goals, and strive for greatness, embodying the Olympic spirit.
Join us as we commemorate our centenary by delving into the stories that have defined Ecolint’s journey from its inception in 1924 to the present day. In this series of articles, Conrad Hughes, Ecolint's Director General, offers his unique perspective on the Foundation's profound impact on international education. First in the series, we explore the early years of Ecolint and the visionary founders who set us on this remarkable path of education for peace.

At Ecolint, we believe in the power of music to unite, inspire, and transform. The Ecolint Orchestra embodies this vision, bringing together talented students from diverse backgrounds to create beautiful harmonies that echo the values of our school.
One of the most anticipated events of the year is our Spring Concert, where students have the unique opportunity to play alongside faculty members who are top-level musicians. This collaboration not only elevates the performance but also provides invaluable mentorship and inspiration for our young musicians. The experience of sharing the stage with their talented teachers enriches their musical journey and reinforces the strong community spirit that defines Ecolint.
Join us in celebrating the Ecolint Orchestra – where music transcends boundaries, and every note contributes to a more harmonious world and enjoy again one of the pieces that was played last March, Jupiter from The Planets, Op. 32, Gustav Holst, Arranged R.Ling.
