to all the real revolutionaries who handed me an Itribution to pay the fine for RASTA SOUND 2020, I really apprecieloved your solidarity and unity movements. Your kind donations amounted 365CHF on the 610CHF I have to pay (I received a second fine for unnecessary police intervention), so I am still chasing a little funding to get that behind.

But right now its time for RASTA SOUND 2021, the fifth edition of the most Ital dance in Sweetsourland! I am gonna release soon some more information on location in time and space so keep an eye on DJ Bugum page. In the meanwhile I am calling on all whose interested in taking part in this year sound system organisation to get in touch, we still need driver, boxmen, cashier/entrance, security( to guard the plug 😤), bar/food people.
If we make it again to come and work together, I have a feeling this year edition gonna be the best ever ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼

DO YOU REMEMBER RASTA SOUND 2020 at Vidy??..Bugum need a strength from you, and Reggae in Lausanne need a strength from you.

As some of you witnessed, its the police who stopped the sound at around 2am, and I ended up receiving two fines for a total of 610 CHF.

As a reminder, sound system took place on 24th of July when switzerland wasnt under lockdown anymore, clubs and bars were open, plus it happend on a vast outdoor plain etc so the fine has nothing to do with COVID, but it is for « organizing a party without SECO autorisation » and for police intervention.

Im posting pics of the fines below for everyone to see.

Rasta Sound is a free Roots Reggae event that we organise every year on the closest friday to july 23th for HIM Earthstrong.
2020 was the fourth edition, and the first one to be stopped by babylon.

For some reasons, Reggae music have been pratically banned from Lausanne clubs and bars. But one of the biggest lessons I received through Reggae music is: When one door is closed another one is open AND the stone that the builder refused shall be the head cornerstone, so thats why I decided to take my responsability and organize a 100%Reggae event instead of complaining on nothing happening. I am also calling on every Reggae fans, on every selectas and artists to somehow organize their own free event or street dance to lively up our town, even if event planning isnt their speciality first hand.

This year Rasta Sound will take place on friday July23th 2021, because nobody can stop Reggae trust me🕊🕊🕊
