A brave little team from Kraburi district went on a mission to clean up the river that separates Thailand from Myanmar. This protected mangrove area is a sensitive space and the last step before the Andaman Sea. All the rubbish collected on the coast and in the rivers is waste that will not end up in the sea. The plastic waste collected during this mission is sold to our social enterprise Ranong Recycle for Environment to be recycled. Congratulations to K Took, Chana and the team of motivated volunteers they brought along on this adventure! ______________________________________ Une petite équipe courageuse du district de Kraburi est partie en mission pour nettoyer la rivière qui sépare la Thaïlande du Myanmar. Cette zone de mangrove protégée est un espace sensible et la dernière étape avant la mer Andaman. Tous les déchets ramassés sur les côtes et dans les rivières sont autant de déchets qui ne finiront pas leur course dans la mer. Les déchets plastiques récoltés lors de cette mission sont revendus à notre entreprise sociale Ranong Recycle for Environment pour être recyclés. Children are the future guardians of the sea〜〜〜 Our waste collection project in southern Thailand gives a central place to the awareness and education of children. The schools in Ranong province are starting to receive students again after months of closure. We hope to be able to inaugurate soon the waste banks built in the schools of the islands, and to come to transmit to the children the gestures to fight against the pollution of the oceans. ______________________________________ Les enfants sont les futurs gardiens de la mer 〜〜〜 Notre projet de collecte des déchets dans le sud de la Thaïlande accorde une place centrale à la sensibilisation et l’éducation des enfants. Les écoles de la province de Ranong recommencent à accueillir les élèves après des mois de fermeture.
