I often try and make an effort with myself to hear new music (As diverse as possible, but should be good!) that I would have not heard otherwise, I think it's important to find new interesting music. I recently started listening to Ashnikko & AFAR, but I must admit, I don't have a proper method for discovering new music! Do you have a method for it? How do you go about it? Let me tell you about how I made this track. It was winter of last year, only just set up the new studio, I knew I wanted to make something heavy but also a little bit light with some happy harmonies, and I wanted some twisted beat that repeats on an irregular number of beats (cause, why not?), and of course some reverb on a fat kick, can it be done?! Well, you can be the judge of that! Let me know if you think I managed to answer my own desires 😜❤❤

When I first wrote this track I didn't know what a rollercoaster it will be, going from thumping kick and bass to uplifting melodies and back again, and with two top tier remixes from Jamie Stevens, as the last single before the album drops it is really a great release! thank you Yuli Fershtat Jed Kanga Digital Structures for giving a stage for my music, not too long now for the album!! ❤❤❤

Have you ever challenged yourself to get more out of the same amount of time? One of my favorite challenges is to set a timer for 30 minutes and work on 1 part of a piece of music, like the cymbals or the lead or whatever. Do you have a similar method for your creative endeavor? Please do share!
