Hanging In There, Leaves!

It’s this time of the year again. The leaves turn from green to orange, red or brown. In this beautiful transition time, there’s this beautiful contrast between the still green ones and the one that changed color. These leaves seem to magically hover above ground.

Action in the kitchen. a few weeks ago I had the pleasure to follow Simons crew delivering a flying dinner for a big group of scientists.

The Neustadtstrasse is home to several places to eat, have a drink, enjoy time with good people or as we do in Switzerland: En Jass chlopfe (playing cards)

As the new year has started, I came up with an idea while walking down the Neustadtstrasse: Why not take this street as a long-term subject for 2022. So these are some of the first shots. More to come

Nature - I end this series with some stunning shot of nature in it piure beauty. No comments.

Events - The year has started with a lot of uncertainty for me, and probably all of us. Eventually it's all up to you what you're going to do with what is been given to you. Here's to my personal top events of 2021.

1) New Years Eve stunning fireworks despite the lock down situation in Switzerland.
2) The weeding of one of my oldest & dearest friends Raphael Stocker . Not the guy in the pictures though. That's Oliver
3) & 4) I took a leap of faith and started to print my photographs & exposed myself at a alternative Christmas market at the Neubad
5) The very same day as the Christmas market I helped throw a party with the guys from Kaffeekranz to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. I spent the night before to decorate the place ✨ and danced to the music played by Mashriq
6) Christmas with my beloved family. Every year we spoil ourselfs with a nine course menu. Every year we take a picture of every course. Every year we miss one 🤪 Half way through dessert we realized
7) "Back to start" - New years eve with amazing people. The great Gatsby was calling

Travel - In my case, a short and easy one 😇 I did travel far less, private & business in 2021. However I had the chance spend a beautiful time in Mallorca (more on that in the events review 😉) and again to visit The Netherlands (Utrecht & The Hague)

1) A day trip to Winterthur (in Covid time i count this as traveling 😅)
2) & 3) Weeding in the beautiful Port de Sóller, Mallorca, Spain
4) & 5) Utrecht

Looking back. In the next few days i'll post photographs of importance to myself. Photographs of important events, travel memories & the stunning beauty of nature i stumbled upon in the past 12 months.
