Think about it for a moment…

13/08/2024

Hello People!
I am back. Like everyone trying to build something for the higher good, I needed a break. A break to reflect, a break to dedicate myself to different members of my family, a break to reconnect some invisible dots, and to rest! God knows, in this world we live in, we ALL need it.
So here I am back with one of the best pieces of advice I heard recently: It's time we shift the narrative and embrace a new norm: fathers who are physically and emotionally present for their children. Being a dad isn't just about providing; it's about participating. It's about bedtime stories, heart-to-heart talks, shared laughter, and comforting tears. When fathers engage deeply in their children's lives, they model strength through vulnerability, teach love through action, and build bonds that last a lifetime. Let's celebrate and support dads who show up, because every child deserves a father who is truly there—body, mind, and heart.

Sincerely,
Your dedicated Parent & Child Coach

The holiday season is the perfect storm for meltdowns and tantrums. This can be SO frustrating for parents when they are simply trying to create happy memories for their children,
WHY???

(1) A child’s brain is more easily overwhelmed by sensory input (due to an underdeveloped hippocamus and thalmus)

(2) They lack the emotional awareness adults do. Children who can’t identify their emotions or their needs may get easily overwhelmed.

(3) No coping skills: It’s hard to manage your emotions if you don’t have the skills.These take time to learn and master

(4) Unrealistic expectations: there may be pressure to get dressed up, take perfect family pictures, and be in a good mood for meals and events when that may not be how they are feeling inside

“Why am I here?”
“What am I here for!”
“Why did my mom have me?”

These are a few of the questions I get asked almost every day by 8-9-10 year-olds these days.
Kids with all sorts of needs who sense the world around them raw, and feel the tough feelings, while learning how to cope with everything.

In a land where mystical creatures roamed freely, there existed a peculiar species known as "Winglings." These creatures were born with wings that possessed an extraordinary duality – they were both strong and weak. The Winglings' wings were said to be powerful enough to carry them across vast distances in the blink of an eye, soaring high above the clouds with grace and elegance. Yet, these very wings were also delicate, susceptible to even the gentlest breeze that could leave them injured and grounded.

The Winglings had adapted to this unique trait over generations, learning to embrace the paradox of their existence. They lived in towering treehouses woven from the branches of the ancient Celestrees, where they cultivated gardens of vibrant, luminescent flora. Their society had developed an unwavering spirit, one that balanced between daring exploration and cautious preservation.

At the heart of Wingling territory stood the Great Aviary, a place of both reverence and curiosity. It was said that those who dared to venture into the Aviary would be granted a single wish by the enigmatic Oracle of Feathers. Many Winglings embarked on the perilous journey, their wings carrying them through treacherous storms and radiant sunsets alike.

Elena, a young Wingling with a heart full of dreams, had always longed to mend the contradiction of her wings. One day, she decided to approach the Oracle, hoping to find a way to strengthen her wings without losing their inherent fragility. The Oracle, a wise and ancient figure with feathers like shimmering galaxies, listened to Elena's plea.

"The strength and weakness of your wings are two halves of a precious whole," the Oracle spoke, its voice like the rustling of leaves in a gentle breeze. "To alter one would be to lose the essence of the other."

Elena pondered these words as she gazed at the intricate patterns on her wings. She realized that her wings were a reflection of her own nature – her ability to be both strong and vulnerable, daring and cautious. With a newfound understanding, she returned to her village, sharing the Oracle's wisdom with her fellow Winglings.

From then on, the Winglings embraced their dual nature without fear. They continued to explore the skies and nurture their land, understanding that strength didn't always mean invulnerability, and weakness didn't equate to powerlessness. Elena became a beacon of unity, her wings carrying her to the farthest reaches of their world, inspiring others to celebrate the beautiful contradiction that made them who they were.

With the start of a new school year, I decided to start a new story telling series.

🤔✏️I’d love your help with finding a suitable title and a fitting but ingenious ending for our stories.

☺️This will hopefully become a wonderful exercise to get to know our audience here on our page, build our community stronger and inspire each other to live a meaningful life!

Here we go:

Once upon a time, in a quaint little village, lived a girl named Eli. She had a heart that radiated with creativity and a spirit as vibrant as the colors she loved so dearly. Eli's world was like a canvas waiting to be filled with her imagination.

One sunny morning, Eli woke up with a brilliant idea. She decided to paint her entire world in the colors of the rainbow. Armed with a paintbrush and pots of vibrant paints, she set out on her colorful adventure. She started with the sky, blending shades of blue, pink, and orange to create the most breathtaking sunrise anyone had ever seen.

Eli's enthusiasm was infectious, and soon the entire village joined in. Children painted flowers with petals in every shade of the rainbow, while adults added colorful touches to their homes and streets. The village transformed into a mesmerizing tapestry of colors, echoing the joy and unity of its people.

As time went on, Eli's rainbow-colored world became a symbol of hope and happiness. People from neighboring villages would travel far and wide to witness the beauty of her creation. Eli's determination to paint her world had not only brought colors to life but had also woven a bond of togetherness among the villagers.

But like all great stories, challenges arose. A heavy rainstorm threatened to wash away the vibrant colors that had become the heart of the village.

~~~~~~OUR STORY NEEDS AN ENDING AND A TITLE AND THE CHOICE TO CONTRIBUTE AND BE CREATIVE IS YOURS.~~~~~~
No, kids do not HAVE TO share especially if it is against their will. First is sharing toys and next thing you know they will resentfully share wins and achievements with people who don’t give a flan about them.
Let’s accept it already, nothing good ever came
Out when YOU were FORCED to do something, anything, even sharing, with strangers or other people/kids.
