Denis Severin is a cello professor in Switzerland, soloist, chamber musician, prizewinner.
Denis Severin is Prize Winner of ECHO KLASSIK (2015) and GRAMMY AWARDS (2007), laureate of several international competitions in Greece, Italy, and Spain. Regularly gives masterclasses in Germany, France, Poland, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Brazil. Denis Severin serves as a jury member for a number of music competitions:

Repost Ponticello: Zoom sur nos deux violoncellistes Francois Guy et Denis Severin le dimanche 10 décembre au Château de Dardagny dans le cadre de la saison OUVERTURES de ponticello.
Lauréat de nombreux prix internationaux et 1er violoncelliste solo de l'OSR de 1979 à 2018, François Guy a été acclamé par la presse pour ses interprétations de grandes œuvres comme par exemple les suites pour violoncelle de J.S Bach🤩. Après un parcours de soliste, il est devenu membre fondateur du Quatuor Schumann.
Détenteur d’un Grammy Awards en 2007 ainsi que du prix Echo Klassik en 2015, Denis Severin se produit avec différents orchestres en tant que soliste avec l’OSR, ou avec Spyros Trio, en tant que chambriste. Il est lui aussi lauréat de divers concours internationaux. 🏆

🎼🌟 Nous adressons nos plus vives félicitations à Lyam Chenaux, qui vient de remporter le 1er prix au Concours International David Popper, en Hongrie.
Lyam, qui est le plus jeune étudiant de la HEM dans la classe de violoncelle de Denis Severin, fête aujourd’hui ses 14 ans. Ce concours de violoncelle, dont l’ambition est de permettre aux jeunes violoncellistes de montrer toute la mesure de leur talent, est l’un des plus prestigieux au monde pour cette catégorie d’âge.
