Franz Marc, part of the “Blue Rider” group, created this painting in 1911 and named it: Zwei blaue Fohlen (two blue foals). Anita and I saw it at the Beyeler Museum. Anita thought that I should try to create it in 3-D (2nd photo) and bow I finished it life-size in clay. The two yearling foals will soon be transported to the foundry Perseo in Mendrisio, Southern Switzerland to be cast in bronze. Its not sold yet.

Martini & Mojito have been added to my portfoglio

I still thoroughly enjoy sculpting with all the facets that come with it. It’s a deeply fulfilling experience to create something the lasts and that brings joy to people as well. Check out my completely overhauled website (joergauer.com)
