In 2017, Sabrina Fernández Casas acquires the 5000 pirated films and the printed catalogs of the emblematic independent film store Mondo Trasho, located in Polvos Azules, Lima,Peru.
Under the following premise: "instead of users, capitalism turns us into consumers and not, killing the opportunity to experiment, exchange experiences and knowledge”, today, Mondo Trasho is an artistic project for the creation of artifacts around this file film.
Following the logic of piracy, Sabrina Fernández Casas gives access to her graphic work-55 artist's books made with the original copies of the movie covers - to be able to invite other artists to intervene in the project and make derivative works.
