How much do the curtains cost?

We often are asked about the price of our curtains but it’s very hard to explain as the final amount depends on many factors such as the chosen fabric, the finish, the art of the curtains etc.

If you have a certain budget we are happy to guide you through our materials to offer the most cost efficient ways to elevate your space.

Wave curtains in the spotlight! 

Surprisingly not as popular as the double or single pleat curtains, Wave curtains are the perfect window dressing for large open-plan living rooms and dining rooms. When fully open, Wave curtains fold neatly providing the contemporary touch to your interiors. This style is not recommended for stiff and heavy materials. Choose rather lightweight fabrics for airy, modern look. 

To hang the curtain, we place hooks into the tape attached to the fabric to achieve the size of wave you require. Then we hook the curtain onto the track.

Unless you are an early bird, noone likes to get woken up at dawn by sun shining directly in your face.
Outside electric shutters are a huge advantage in most of the houses in Switzerland but they still leave the room quite bright.

If you want to deal with too much light in your bedroom once and for all you need to invest in curtains made out of dimout or blackout fabrics.

Dimout curtains darken the room significantly (80-90%) while blackout curtains block all the light that enters the room.

We all have love-hate relationships with linen curtains. Linen fabrics are well known for their beautiful, natural look but unfortunately they require quite a lot of work as it goes to their maintenance.

Our 100% linen fabrics can be machine-washed. However, you need to be very careful while doing so. To prevent shrinkage, you have to launder them with cold water and use a delicate cycle of the laundry machine.

Another convenient alternative is to send your curtains in for dry-cleaning. Be sure to engage with a reliable service having experience with taking care of linens.

At Atelier Le Rêve we are not affraid of heights!😉

We can produce your curtains as long as you need and hang them on the windows up to 4m high.

Tip: When your ceilings are high, your curtains need to scale up too.
If you want to make a feature of them, you can go bold with shades and patterns.
If you don’t want to overwhelm the space too much, dress your windows with textiles that are both lighter in weight and color.
