We are thrilled to introduce our partner, Thomas Mühlemann! Since 2007, Thomas has been perfecting the art of raising Wagyu cattle in the stunning Schwarzenegg, near Thun, Switzerland. Each of these magnificent animals is given a name and enjoys a life of freedom, resulting in the most exquisite meat. 🐂❤️

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to visit Thomas and see firsthand the dedication and passion that go into his work. The result is meat of unrivalled quality that can compete worldwide with its outstanding quality. 🏆✨

From succulent pastrami and juicy steaks to tender, slow-braised dishes, we are thrilled to bring this exceptional Wagyu to your table. 🍽️💫

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting the Alcala brothers in Vaumarcus. For many years, they have been crafting Pata Negra and Pata Blanca ham through an elaborate and perfected process – without machines or any technical devices, but with lots of love, finesse, and joy. 🍖 🌰

We at Gala d’Or are proud to announce that we will be partnering with the Alcala brothers and their exclusive products in the future. Stay tuned for this special collaboration! 🌟

Elderflower has been cherished for centuries not only for its delicate, floral flavor but also for its medicinal properties. Historically, it was used to treat colds, flu, and sinus infections due to its powerful anti-inflammatory and antiviral benefits. 🌿✨

We at gala d’or also love to use elderflower preserved as cordial and vinegar as a final touch for our sauces, dressings, drinks and much more.🌸🥂

Introducing our Co-Founder and Chief Culinary Officer, Valentin Hari.

With over a decade of experience in the gastronomy business and a background rooted in farm-to-table principles, he embodies a profound dedication to culinary innovation within Vais Group. His journey to gastronomic excellence mirrors an unwavering commitment to quality and creativity.

Within a mere six months, Valentin earned the esteemed Guide Michelin Bib Gourmand award and clinched third place in the 2021 Marmite Youngster Competition, showcasing culinary prowess.

Global culinary adventures in Mexico and Scotland have enriched his perspective, allowing for the crafting of exquisite menus for discerning palates of international airlines' First and Business Class passengers, as well as elite gourmet catering establishments.

During the peak of the wild garlic season, the flowering period is a standout. The scent of the blossoms in the forest and along small streams is unique. 🌿 At this stage, small buds develop on the flower stems, which, when pickled in a sweet-sour brine, serve excellently as a garnish and flavor enhancer for various dishes and snacks. 🌸 These buds, rich in flavor and nutrients, are versatile in our eyes. 😋 We let them sit in the brine for several months to allow the flavors to fully develop. 🕒 It's a delightful way to extend the enjoyment of wild garlic beyond its fresh season. 🌱
