Our second week in La Réunion was also just fantastic! Numerous great encounters with humpback whales beneath the surface were of course the highlight! Besides, we were also lucky enough to visit the volcano in the sunshine!
Thanks to all participants for an unforgettable time!

Our first week on La Réunion was amazing! Many hours on the water have brought us great encounters with the humpback whales. The highlights were certainly the encounters with mother & calf, but also 2 whales that swam by extremely close! Thank you to all the guests for an unforgettable time!

Some whale species are not easy to keep apart. One way to identify a Bryde's whale is to look at its head. Bryde's whales have 3 ridges between blowhole and mouth opening!

Einige Walarten sind nicht einfach auseinander zu halten. Eine Art, Brydewale zu identifizieren, ist sich den Kopf anzuschauen. Brydewale besitzen 3 Striemen zwischen Blasloch und Mundöffnung!

We are currently in southern Spain and had a very interesting encounter with a S***m
whale and Pilot whales. Pilot whales defend their territory against intruders like the S***m whale. It was interesting to see them try to chase it away!

Right Whales like to come very close to the coast in their mating areas... one of the best places in the world to see the animals is Hermanus in South Africa 🤩

Glattwale kommen in Ihren Paarungsgebieten gerne sehr nahe an die Küste... einer der besten Orte der Welt, um die Tiere zu sehen, ist Hermanus in Südafrika 🤩

We've had a fantastic week in the Azores with 9 different species of whales and dolphins including daily blue whales, s***m whales, a minke whale and false killer whales 🤩

We are currently around the Azores enjoying wonderful Blue Whales 🤩

Die Halbinsel Baja California ist in dieser Jahreszeit ein Hotspot für Wale & Delfine! Vor ein paar Wochen kam es zu einer Attacke von Orcas auf einen ausgewachsenen Blauwal... Die Aufnahmen sind sehr eindrücklich 😬
Scheinbar ist der Blauwal davon gekommen.
