Cinnamon Essential Oil: An Awesome Antibacterial & Immune Support!! See our Blog and what Research has discovered!! (*See link below) The Ananda Apothecary carries three different offerings of Cinnamon oil. We carry one true essential oil and two CO2 extracts: 1. Our Steam Distilled Essential oil: Cinnamomum zeylanicum also known as true cinnamon or Ceylon cinnamon. We get this one from the tropical region of Madagascar. It has been studied for it's anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial activities, reducing heart disease and colonic cancer and in boosting cognitive function. 2. Our CO2 Extract: Cinnamomum ceylanicum, named after Ceylon, the former name of Sri Lanka, where we get this one from. Cynnamomum cylanicum is also known as true cinnamon. It's been studied as an anti-parasitic, to prevent Alzheimer's, lowering blood glucose, and preventing liver damage. 3. Our CO2 Extract: Cinnamomum burmanii, also known as Indonesian cinnamon.
