America- We’re your Army and these were your sons. I’ll never forget these men or that day. My thoughts are with their Families and friends...

I was lucky enough to serve twice in the . I am a proud Big Red One Soldier and I’m proud of the BRO Soldiers I met at Fort Riley today. It was HOT, and these Soldiers had the DISCIPLINE to wear masks so they can be healthy and ready to protect OUR Nation!

Brought the Army’s senior CSMs together to work on Army culture and how we develop leaders who build cohesive teams that are highly trained, disciplined, and mentally and physically fit.

And you know we were gonna take an ACFT. Didn’t top my high score - took it a little easier on the DL and still struggling with the SPT. Still a solid score...

Yesterday, I had the chance to do my first run with as the SMA. Thank you for joining me, along with your staff, for some great PT with !

Solid PT with Delta, 35th Engineers at - met one trainee who said the Army is the only family he’s ever had, so I’m pretty fired up to be the SMA today.

Also recognized a DS that’s helping set up the first OSUT-to-Sapper Leader Course pipeline to motivate and reward high-performing, ambitious Engineers. Great start to what’s going to be a long day.
