Talking about becoming a better version of you, I realised that one of the best ways to do that is to follow after the steps of those who have gone ahead of you in that area

Look for some body who is already where you want to be or almost there, learn from their process and leverage on their experience. There's no need trying to reinvent the wheel as there's nothing new under the sun

Check their story and study their weaknesses, failures challenges etc and how they overcame these. Look at what made them who they are now, and when they became that. Identify their beliefs and the core principles they live by and relate with yours.

Once you know their story and process you'll also know if you're ready to go through that road and face some of the things they face and how to handle them. If your conviction at this point permits you, then set out on the journey immediately. It's never going to be easy however but it's worth it. Remember leveraging on their experiences will help shorten the time for you to reach there also.

Follow somebody who's already there, have been there, are there or are almost there. Make sure it's the same road!

Okay, Let me start from last year...

I'm so excited to share with you this experience that I had last year. Actually, my 2022 was a great, great year, not because I made a lot of money, nor because I achieved so much materially or financially, and not because I travelled etc, but because of the new things that I was exposed to, the new opportunities I got that came across my way, and the new people that I met.
I'll talk about two today.

The very first thing that I must tell you about last year 2022 is that I had a lot of challenges health wise. It was one of my worst years when it came to my health. I had a lot of health breakdown. I slept in the hospital three times, no four. Was transfused two times, and I took a total of six pints of blood. Can you imagine that? It was also a year where I got so challenged about so many things in my life, business and ministry. In fact I had a lot of challenges, but you know what, it was a great year and somehow my best year so far.👏💪

Number 1: The opportunity
The first major thing about last year is that last year I was open to an opportunity! A great opportunity to learn at that.

I was connected to a platform - LAP that opened me up to a world of unlimited opportunities. I heard for my first time, what high income skills were all about. For my first time I heard something called "digital skills", and it was just so amazing. I was introduced to this platform and took time to learn, that was around March last year, March 15th precisely, that I came across the ad on Facebook, read through it and later signed up. I was exposed to 14 digital globally relevant high income skills, and how I can use them to make money for myself.

I was able to learn what copywriting was all about, social media marketing, WhatsApp marketing, sales and funnel building, graphic design and presentation skills. Also learnt YouTube and blogging, voice artistry/voice over podcasting, digital marketing etc. In fact, these are things that I'd never known for my whole life and I'd never really been serious about learning any extra relevant skills. I'm glad I added these skillset to my knowledge and how to monetize them. Amazing, right? So guess what would be happening this 2023...

Number 2: The People
The second amazing thing that happened to me last year was that I was introduced to great and meaningful relationships. I came across some valuable people who have been adding value to my life and of course my circle of friends and circle of influence changed somehow.

I want to appreciate some of these people. I may not be able to mention all their names today, but will do that subsequently. Let me give a shout out to these few that come to mind now and to appreciate them for impacting my life positively and for adding so much value to my life as well.

There's this amazing lady from Nigeria , an amazing mentor and leader. This lady not only got me registered into LAP but also helped open my mind to so many other opportunities online, like TikTok marketing and the beauty of affiliate marketing. I always knew that TikTok was for children but this lady showed me how to create impact using TikTok and also make money from it.

I want to thank people like the great Kingala himself - Mr , who is the country director of Learnoflix Affiliate Program Cameroon. I met people like Sir , an amazing coach and leader. This is the same person that I attended his training sometime in 2017 on Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency and it blew my mind. (I've shared that story in My Journey Online). I always tell people since that time that this was the person that got me "initiated" into online business especially cryptocurrency and I was privileged to meet him after five years and to have a one on one conversation with him in Douala, thanks to my being part of LAP. I even took pictures with him, 🤣 and I'm looking forward to sitting under him again and to working closely with him. I'm so grateful to God for that great man.

I'm grateful to Dr my main trainer and... Oh my God that's my Billionaire Mentor that I got to learn a lot from his experience and journey as an entrepreneur! The story here is long...

One thing I want to tell you is please always check your inner circle. Revise the people that have influence over you. If the people around you or the people you listen to or the people that you open up your heart and your mind to are influencing you negatively, please I ask you to change them. Always revisit your inner circle and do some weeding Okay. W**d out any wrong seeds, any bad seeds, any wrong and negative influences, and continue to build meaningful relationships with people who add value to your life and help you to improve and grow. Also never skip any opportunity to learn new skills

So January ended on a very positive note for me. I hope you too?

POVERTY IS NOT THE SAME THING AS FINANCIAL LACK

To equate them would be to fixate on the effect of a thing, rather than the thing itself.

Poverty is an intentionally designed system, complete with its own culture, university, teachers and ideological military.

Its arms of government are responsible for propagating the kinds of 'knowledge' guaranteed to keep you acting in ways that eventually lead to financial stress.

Its military is responsible for defending its borders.

Financial stress (alongside its companions) lies at the end of the process... but that in itself is not the poverty.

The 'school na scam' doctrine in Nigeria came from the Ministry of Poverty.

The 'who passport epp' doctrine came from the Ministry of Poverty.

Political fanaticism is from the Ministry of Poverty.

Its job is to 'educate' you into actions that narrow your options in life and diminish your opportunities to escape the territorial boundaries of struggle.

It will lead you into a way of life that always presents you artificial fires you will spend your energy putting out, leaving little to no room for growth or thriving, only surviving... barely.

It will misrepresent half-truths as the full picture so you keep chasing mirages and empty hopes.

It will tell you that deep thinking is for those 'wey don chop bellefull' because it knows that in the right tribe, your poverty will not survive successive deep thinking and collaboration sessions.

It will give you a false arrogance to limit the kinds of people you are able to learn from.

It will turn your interpretation of religion into cult-like thoughts and behaviors so that saviors will never reach you... you'd kill them because you think they're against you.

The School of the Poor will reward and promote public figures who are able to keep you there with their 'wisdom' and antics.

In Nigeria today, and perhaps the world, the word 'elite' has taken on a negative connotation... so that you never aspire to be one.

It is important that your eyes be trained to recognize it.

When Jesus said the way to life was narrow... and few would even find it, he was not talking about Heaven.

The world needs the misery of the poor to keep the Pareto distribution balanced.

Why?

Because people with limited options are incredibly easy to influence - towards buying, voting and fighting under the illusion of free will.

People with a multitude of options see their antics and laugh instead.

This institution will never go away, but you can make your own exit.

Discard the Wisdom of the Poor.

Despise it.

Find that narrow path that few get the privilege of learning.

Make it your home and the lens with which you see the world.

Change your mindset and learn the way of the rich

Learn its constitution, language and culture.

Find its teachers.

Hello dear students and parents, in a few weeks the university will open its doors to receive and teach those who enrolled.

*The big question I want us to answer is:*

1. What will you be reading?

2. Of what relevance is it in the 21st century economy?

3. How many people are independently successful in what you're planning to spend three to five years learning.

4. Is it going to be a globally valued course or do you want to have PhD in Cameroon which will be very useless in countries like Canada, USA and Even in Cameroon except to go back to class and teach the same junk?

There are more questions to answer but let me pause here.

Think about the evolution of the world systems...

Think about globalisation...

Think about skills that will permit you to serve a larger sample perhaps from home (remote jobs)...

Think about freedom...

It hurts to spend years plus money learning irrelevant courses meanwhile your parents are waiting on you to save them sooner than later.

It's frustrating to waste family Resources studying outdated programs designed 50 years ago by some colonial masters to suit that past😥😥

_I believe education is the tool through which society and families can be transformed. But I don't believe in the outdated education that doesn't meet the needs of the era we find ourselves and can't solve any of our society's problems_

Today everything is centered around what I abbreviate STEM: science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Go for these courses!

Beside these learn more about sales and closing.... Learn the science of sales and all that comes with it. Invest in your personal development. Open up to seminars and workshops, conferences and virtual meetings. Learn digital skills

Hard work is good but the question is what are working hard on? Work smart!!

However, after three days of wrestling with the thought of owing such a huge amount of money, the old man returned the fund intact to the lender with the explanation that he had lost his peace because of the loan. Indebtedness is such a miserable experience that, in every culture, there is an axiom that speaks ill or it.

ln the same vein, Apostle Paul enjoins Christians to “owe no man any thing”. Whereas it is not a sin to owe money or material, the Christian should as much as possible, stay out of debt. lt is wicked to fail to pay a debt that you are in a position to pay. In the same breadth, we are told here of a necessary debt that we owe our neighbours which we must continue to pay. It is the debt of love.

Even though the world has grossly abused the term ”love", the Bible clarifies the concept. ”Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” Genuine love will make us not to even think or plan any evil against others, let alone doing things that can hurt their person or fortune. For the Christian, love is not only a restraining influence but a constraining one. True love constrains us to do good to others as much as lies in our power. In a world that is terribly darkened by hate, racism, injustice, greed and selfishness, your show of genuine love will brighten the corner where you are.

Religious profession and devotion that is bereft of love that springs from a renewed heart is worthless. We must examine ourselves in the light of this reality, especially considering the shortness of time at our disposal, and shake off every work of darkness.

He who loves unconditionally like Christ has life eternally with Him.
