Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3v3.

The only way a man can enter the kingdom of God is through becoming born again. How is one born again? Through receiving salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There is no action outside of salvation that can save a man. Salvation through Jesus Christ is the only way.

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts 13 v38-39.

Our salvation really is as simple as this: Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. We have been called to simply believe that He came to earth as a man, died on the cross for our sins, and resurrected on the third day. There are no other requirements to receive salvation – God made it this simple for us. This is what we are to let the world know, so that they can partake of this great love and such a great inheritance too.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John3v16.

God loved us so much, when we were still sinners, that He decided to give up His son so that we could be saved. Jesus Christ endured all the pain and the suffering, so that we could be redeemed from our sins. Jesus had every single person, past, present and future, in mind when He chose to make that sacrifice. This is why we are able to identify as children of God. This is why we have eternal life.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31v30

Face-value, earthly things will never hold a substantial amount of value. We live in a world that is more concerned about how people look, how much money they have, and the kinds of material goods they possess. All of these things will fade away with time. The thing that will remain in people’s minds for a very long time will be our characters and the virtues we possess. Men and women of God need to ensure that their characters and their virtues are godly.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
Psalms 95v6-7.

What an honest and loving Psalm this is. Humbly asking to kneel before God, knowing that he is our protector. He is our shepherd and he will guide us to safety, our refuge, our strength, and we shall not want for anything. Blessed are all that come in His holy name.

Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

Psalms 42v8.

I have mentioned it previously, but there is something magical about music. Some of the most emotional moments in my life were sparked by song, and any song to the Lord has the power to move us. Some of the moments I most strongly felt the Lord’s presence was during songs about Him, because during this musical performance, I could feel that He was there.

Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
Proverbs 3v9.

If you are privileged enough to become wealthy – or even just financially stable – let a sum of your money be dedicated to the things of God. This doesn’t necessarily have to be in the form of offering – but it is good to support your local church with money. You can use your money to help the less fortunate – that is godly. Don’t let having money cause stinginess in your heart; be willing to give.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
Psalms 119v14.

Learning about the testimonies of the Lord and reading the Bible is one of the most fascinating aspects of being a Christian. People have spent their entire lives dissecting the meanings of ancient texts and scriptures, gleaning different results based on a few words or different translations. There is a multitude of riches presented to any believer in the Lord: knowledge, wisdom, and love.

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Matthew 16v 15-16.

There was much speculation about the form the Messiah would take when God sent him. Would he be a great warrior, sent to free Israel from Rome? In fact, he was much more than that. The jews did not expect that God would send the embodiment of Himself down to earth (who, after all, could imagine such as thing was possible?). Still, the Son of God did come to earth, and he sacrificed that life that would be with the Father. Praise be to our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ!

Matthew 4v4.

Once we accept Jesus Christ into our heart, we join the most powerful community in the world. We sit in the Lord’s Kingdom, ready to offer ourselves to his desires. This connection removes the borders that separate us. Together we all pray to the same, one, true, God.

There is nothing that is of the devil that we should consider as an object of our desire. The things of the world, which are ultimately of the enemy, are an abomination in the Lord’s eyes – this is because they are contrary to the ways of God. Stay away from evil influences and remain rooted in the word of God, it will save you from much trouble and even death. God has called us to live a much higher life.
Psalms 91v1.

God will act as your refuge, your secret place, and will protect you if you just let Him. Let God into your heart and He shall open up all of His doors to you, allowing you to live in His almighty shadow.

Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.
Proverb 3 v 31-32.

Consider how long ago this was written. Now consider the impact that Christianity has had on this planet. This Psalms was written long before the birth of Christ. Consider how powerful a message this prophecy conveys.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1 Cor 1 v 10

I firmly believe that Christians must unite as one in these more and more secular times. Science and technology have advanced tremendously over a short period of time, leading many to stop believing in what led us to this point in the first place. The result is a generation of wandering souls, lost without the one and only hero: Jesus Christ. All devotees of Christ must stand together in this battle for earth, because all of mankind’s salvation relies on our unity.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

John 12v 26.

We should not seek that honor which comes from men but the honor that comes only from God. Men often honor one another, but that honor is nothing if it be not in conformity to God's truth. Christians should honor God by obeying him and count as their highest honor a word from him saying, "Well done you good and faithful servant."

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Romans 12v16

What does Paul mean to mind not high things? It cannot mean to avoid the high, deep doctrines of God which Paul himself often teaches. He says that we should condescend to men of low estate. He seems to mean that we should not talk over people's heads, be focused always on things that only the "affluent" could relate to or appreciate, or separate ourselves from other brothers/sisters in Christ based on wealth and class.
