In Judges 4 words came from the LORD through Deborah to Barak, to gather 10,000men for battle against Sisera under King Jabin’s rule…

The Bible says “At Barak’s advance, the LORD intervened bringing Israel victory…” (Judges 4:15)

Advance simply means Move Forward.
Take a step forward.

You want to experience the mighty hand of God?
In Kingdom Pursuits, take a step forward.
In Character Development, take a step forward.
In Business, take a step forward.
In Career, take a step forward.

The problem is most of us end at desire alone, or claiming promises.
Take a step forward.

𝟲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲

1️⃣ A Vision

A man without a vision and a working plan on how to get there is in for failure.

Real men have self mastery.
Real men discover who they are in God.
Real men discover and live their life’s assignment.
Real men have kingdom pursuits.

2️⃣ Principles

You’ll live a life full of regrets if you lack values, discipline and self control.

Too many things in the world today are designed to make men misbehave, and we have at some points.

But you must fix this, build character and have guiding principles. You must intentionally close your eyes to certain pleasures and happenings.

3️⃣ Negotiation Skills

Knowing how to toast ladies so well is not it. Negotiation has to do with finding your way through an obstacle with just a talk.

Learn to make deals.
Learn to make offers.
Learn to market.
Learn to make sales.

4️⃣ Quality Relationships

A network will do for you what money alone won’t, what skill alone won’t do.

Sad that the only relationships some people concentrate on are social media likes and comments.

A large following is not the definition of quality relationships. An honest, trustworthy, respectful and sacrificial company is, even with 1 or 2 people.

5️⃣ An Altar

An Altar signifies firm foundation. An altar signifies sacrifice.

You can’t be neutral. No one goes up by natural systems alone, you must have a spiritual backing.

It’s either you belong to a secret cult or the secret place (in Christ).

6️⃣ A Wallet

As much as we want to tell stories justifying lack, a fat wallet is valuable.

A man grows into responsibility and you must develop capacity to provide financially.

Good enough the wallet must never be huge from the beginning, start small and fatten it.

Find something doing, refine your skills, learn finance, learn investment.

𝟲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘆

Destiny is often talked about to be something mystical, a future life we have no control over.

Others hold to the opinion that destiny is what we create (consciously or not) as we respond to the the different life happenings.

Whatever your stand on this subject is, here are a few points you should learn, amongst others.

These 6 Things Define Your Destiny…

1️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀

Proverbs 23:7 says “As someone thinks within himself, so is he”.

The mind is a door to the soul and thoughts feed the soul. The manifestations of people we see are an expression of who they are in the inside.

You must give attention to your thought-life. Your thoughts are powerful.
Negative thoughts can create negative manifestations and positive thoughts, positive realities.

The Bible gives us a standard to a thought life you should have in

Philippians 4:8 “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirableif anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things.”

2️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀)

Someone has said that you can frame your world by your words.

The Bible says in Provers 18:21 “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

The meaning is that you can talk something into existence.

You can talk light into a bad day.
You can talk peace into storms and crises.
You can talk joy into chaos.
You might not have control over challenges, but you can talk strength to face them.

3️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

Proverbs 29:18 says “Where there is no vision, the people perish…”

Vision is your ability to SEE.
Vision has to do with Sight.
There are 3 kinds of Sights…
(i) Eyesight (what you see today)
(ii) Insight (an understanding of the happenings)
(iii) Foresight (The weight and possibilities of the future you see)

Several people are limited to just eyesight.
Who they become is limited to the today they see.
You must develop insight and foresight.

A bad or blurred vision will limit the heights in destiny you can reach.

4️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

We commonly say “Decisions Decide Destiny”.
There is power in Choice.

Deuteronomy 30:19 says “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live”.

Your decisions determine the outcome of your life, and you take responsibility for the choices you make, whatever their consequences.

If you do not choose what you want to see, you’ve already made the choice to live with what you do not want to see.

Choose rightly!

5️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

An action is an activity.
An action is a response.
An action is in most cases a habit.

Life is governed by principles of reaping what you sow (Galatians 6:7).

The third law of motion says “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

Your actions today will produce the results in years to come.

If you want to change a man’s outcome, simply change his habits.

6️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹

This point brings a strong balance.

We must establish that there is a Supreme God; In control of all things outside human control.
The exactitude of creation is a validation that God is Creator, and that nothing just happened from no where.

Our responsibility as humans is not to take what God has in control to our control. But to align ourselves to his purposes and plans.

The plans of God are plans of good and not of evil (Jeremiah 29:11).
We must trust God enough to walk in the plan he has mapped out for us.

The big question is how can you align yourself to Gods will?

Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Here is the call…

1. To be Born of the Spirit of God.
Believe in the finished work of Christ on the Cross for your salvation.
Have a genuine relationship with God.

2. Contest for Transformation.
Feed yourself with God’s Word.
Grow in discernment, wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

The Reality Of The Building Stage Of Life

If you are in the seeding, building or training stage of your life, here are a few things that have become your reality.

1. Resources seem to have stopped coming. Finances are hard to find now than ever, and you seem to not have anyone coming around to help.

2. Your present results do not match your huge efforts. You think you’re going the wrong direction already.

3. The plan no longer seem like it and giving up is easy.

4. You are disrespected because the world wants results only, but your season today is not harvest.

Hear me…
You’re a project under development that will become a wonder for the Glory of God.

Don’t STOP!

You need money! Why should people give you money?
You want to create wealth through a product or service! Why should people pay for that?

People have worked too hard to get money to not risk it by investing in anything of small value.

Your life must unarguably be a validated business case to permit people invest in you.

𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚊 𝙱𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝙲𝚊𝚜𝚎?

1️⃣ A Shared Vision
A shared vision is important to give the team one mind. A shared vision will eliminate self-centered opinions and activities.

The team cannot go wrong when everyone holds a common definition and works to achieve a common goal.

This unity in purpose will increase productivity.

2️⃣ Task Allocation
There will exist disorder and storms when everyone is allowed to do just anything.

Assigning team members to particular roles and responsibilities will make for accountability, consciousness and productivity.

3️⃣ A Co-working Space
A co-working space is a powerful way to improve team interaction, improve communication, unite efforts and increase collaboration.

A co-working space will increase the flow of relevant information and resources among team members, increase motivation and increase productivity.

4️⃣ The Round-Robin Technique
The round-robin technique is used to ensure that each team member has an opportunity to share their ideas, opinions, updates, and participates.

Team members feel belonging when there exist a culture that welcomes diverse opinions.

To get team members feeling belonging and having a rich bank of diverse possibilities will increase collaboration and productivity.

YOUTH is the prime stage of life you can never redeem once lost or misused.

After the Youth Season of your life…

1️⃣ Your passion and strength will fade away.

2️⃣ Life challenges will become so overwhelming and the responsibilities life presents will drown your ability to do you.

3️⃣ You will lose the privilege to try over and over again. As a middle age adult, the world will no longer expects you to fail on stage. You will be there to execute and nothing less.

4️⃣ There are national, African and global opportunities you’ll never be eligible for again.

To the UN (United Nations) a youth is 15 - 24 years of age.
To the African Union a youth is 15 - 35 years old.
In Cameroon, a youth is 18 - 35 years old.

You do not have forever to keep this strength.
Wake up and start doing what counts.

You desire to see a change,
Make little contributions today.

MoSCoW is a prioritization technique often used in Software Development Projects to ensure that the features of the software product are valuable and outstanding.

Learning and applying this technique will help individuals and companies with To Do daily activities, goals and projects.

MoSCoW

1️⃣ Mo - Must Have
Write down all things that are important and necessary.

2️⃣ S - Should Have
Write down the things that are important but not necessary now.

3️⃣ Co - Could Have
Write down the things that are nice to have but have little or no impact.

4️⃣ W - Won’t Have
Identify all things that are not a priority.

Now you know what to give attention and resources to.

I had a terrible experience with the military some weeks back.

It was annoying and frustrating, I shared with a few friends.
I really didn’t want to heal.
Keeping the story in my head seemed justifiable.

I noticed I got healing faster than I expected.
I grew cold about sharing the experience further.

This alone gave me a valuable lesson, that Cameroon and other countries in Africa are quick to spreading the negative stories
and ignore with so much hatred and jealousy the beautiful stories.

We take interest in the very negative things so much that these negative stories become our identity.
To us and to the entire world.

We carry this impression about ourselves and further feed the outside world with this definition of us, negativity.

We should paint a new picture and sell our many positive stories too.

Spread innovations and new businesses like they’re all that matter.
Share works of arts, good music, books of others with love, energy and positivity.

Not condoning with evil though.
There is much we must fix.
But we must intentionally start somewhere.

1️⃣ Defending Your “Mummy” or “Daddy”

Every young person on social media today has their mummy and daddy.

We shouldn’t even go into who made them mummies and daddies 😀

It’s okay to love and appreciate someone you admire.
But insulting and bringing down others to make your mummy win is never valuable.
It will only stir up hatred and evil.

Sad that the many arguments will hardly ever inspire productive lessons at the end of the day.

2️⃣ Defending Your Man of God / Insulting Others Outside Scriptural Standards

A generation of “Christians” & Unbelievers argue who is right and wrong (depending on who they love and admire).

It is sad that matters that should be discussed in family meetings are disgracefully dragged to the public.

Pastors using the pulpit to emotionally fight others and all we see is hatred and selfishness, nothing about Gods agenda.

This in no way undermines the importance of pointing out falsehood in all boldness (which is scriptural).

No man’s opinion is bigger than Scripture.
What your man of God said is not the standard, God’s Word is.

But on several occasions unbelievers are given more reasons to mock the church and believers are hardly edified.

There is a need to do this rightly brothers.
Be Spirit-led and guided.
Jesus is still Lord over the Church and wickedness will not stand.

3️⃣ Begging For Giveaways

It’s tempting to want to be at the receiving end only.

Sad to say some giveaways have become a wind of distraction and a trap to keep you dependent.

A lot more are with good intentions and others are market strategies.

Giving is a blessing and
Receiving is never a curse.
But giving all of your energy and in desperation to this thing is draining and unproductive.

You might not agree with all of the points and statements, and that is okay.

Truth is today’s youths are of two very different categories.
It’s just a matter of time to realize the category you really are in.

Proverbs 20:29 says "The glory of young men is their stength, gray hair the splendor of the old."

This is a call to youths for intentional living. You won't stay young forever.

It will be frustrating to grow old knowing you missed your youth because of carelessness, ignorance and/or distractions of every form.

How Can You Maximize Your Youth?

1️⃣ Make Learning a Priority

It is a costly mistake to think that you have time to learn tomorrow.
Adulthood will naturally present to you a stage, and you'll be expected to deliver prepared or not.

You have the time to invest in yourself now, you have an extended allowance to fail and the permission to try again a thousand times.

Discover and develop yourself and potentials.
Build capacity.
Contest for growth and development in all domains.

2️⃣ Build Valuable Relationships

Relationship is an asset that is worth your energy and investments.
Life happens and no one is on the mountain top all their lives, there are valley seasons too. It will be life threatening to have no one gather around you in your days of trouble.

Do not carry the mindset of giving to have others give back to you.
Love people genuinely.

3️⃣ Produce Something

Productivity is an evidence of life and sustainability.
Produce something sounds like TECH almost, if not all the times.
But we're moving above just tech. Bring your ideas, passion, solutions, innovations, books, poems, musics, crafts, businesses to life.

Youth is the age where you passion is most alive and you have the strength to pursue it.
Do not waste your passion on the many distractions we have today.

4️⃣ Serve Humanity Sacrificially

Money/fame has become the "key interest" of today's youths so much that they will so deal with anything "human" that stands on their way.

Serving humanity means giving your time, efforts and resources for people transformation and community impact.

Every depreciating community and stagnant nation reflects the mentality, actions, wishes and quality of their youths.
You can make the difference for societal prominence.

Above ALL

5️⃣ Serve God Genuinely

Your life is eternally relevant to the extent that it fits in the purposes of God in Christ Jesus, and then advances the purposes of God.

Maximize your strength to walk with and serve Jesus.
Maximize your strength to win souls for the Kindom.

To you who thinks Salvation in Christ is a made up story.
Well you have a right to your opinion.

It will be sad to do too many nice things, and even create community impact, but miss heaven.
You can find eternal relevance in Christ Jesus.
Do you have Jesus the Risen Christ as you personal Savior and Lord?

Do not waste you YOUTH

Your life is eternally relevant only to the extent that it advances the Purposes of YAH

Don’t be in a hurry to abort your training for the stage.

Stage will come for you someday, so much that you’ll be the one pleading for retreats.

You’re in trouble if all the people around you are “football fans”.
Build a community of people who love you genuinely;
People who will stay with you in down times.

A category of people NEVER to keep in your life are “Football Fans”…

Who support you only because of the pleasure it brings them.

𝟰 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀

Potential is the capacity to do much more than already seen. There are heights you can reach the world doesn’t know yet.

You carry the capacity to bring innovation to life, capacity to solve societal problems, capacity to inspire and influence others in your own unique way. The trouble really is how can you bring all these to life?

Here are 4 golden keys:

1️⃣ Continuous Learning

Every learning opportunity is a platform that will do two things to you
(1) Teach you something new
(2) Bring something new out of you.

Make learning a habit, learn leadership, learn emotional intelligence, learn language, learn technology, learn a new skill, and what have you.

Your greatest investment should be feeding yourself and not covering your mess.
We have many incapacitated people moving in good suits, carved beards, expensive wigs and beautiful make-up. Resist the temptation to be a well painted chimpanzee.

2️⃣ Volunteering

Volunteering is freely offering your time, efforts and resources for a worthy cause.
Transforming people and communities through genuine service reveals the HERO in you.

Our generation worries that volunteers are not paid. You’ll be amazed to realize that, as Sherry Anderson puts it,

𝘝𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘥 - 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴.

3️⃣Taking the lead

You’ll hardly ever uncover the giant in you if all you do is stay quiet in adversity, run away from burdens, and only grumble about the problems.

The 16 years old David in Bible history stood out among trained soldiers to fight, and defeated Goliath.
The lesson here is that, the key to unlocking your next success height is hidden in the the battle you must fight.

Is there a people, community, or company problem you identify? Take the lead to meet the need.

4️⃣ Networking

Building valuable relationships cannot be overemphasized. Interact with people who encourage, inspire action and bring out the best in you.

Every great man is a people investment. You have much inside of you that the right community of professionals and leaders will help you identify, nurture and celebrate.
Quit the many mediocre groups and join possibility groups.

There is more you should do…

1️⃣ You should Handover

Handover the wheel of your life to Jesus. 1 Samuel 2:9 says … For by strength shall no man prevail.

Planning is relevant, but it is a risk to rely on your plan, yourself or your own ability… We truly find life, sustenance and impact by the mercies and faithfulness of God.

Contest for a daily walk with Jesus, Intimacy and fellowship with God; through personal word study, meditation and prayers.

2️⃣ You should Changeover

Changeover means willingly engaging in events that results in transformation. This year contest for genuine transformation and growth.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will.

This is how to have divine direction and succeed in 2024, transformation of your thoughts, mind and character even by the Word of God.

3️⃣ You should Takeover

Taking over is victory, gaining control.
The foundation of our Victory is in Christ Jesus.

You can have victory over sin, victory over the flesh, you can take over your thoughts.

As a professional or entrepreneur you can take over and dominate your industry; through excellence, consistency…

4️⃣ You should Win-over

Soul winning and word discipleship is of eternal relevance and should be a priority for every believer in Christ Jesus.

Any engagement that doesn’t translate to winning souls for the Kingdom of God has no eternal relevance.

You can make this year a year of harvest, intentional evangelism, and committed disciple making.

Hear this…
No doubts you can make money and achieve dreams without being a Christian, we can call a number of names. But these have no eternal relevance.

Our interest is ultimately that your soul prospers, that you escape condemnation and experience the joy of Eternal Life in Christ Jesus.

Jesus paid all in full. He was beaten, crucified on the cross for your sin, he died for you, had victory over dead in resurrection so that you can have Life.
