🚨🇨🇲SCANDAL! Legend GEREMI NJITAP was disrespectfully ordered out of Indomitable Lions' dressing room by FECAFOOT personnel after Gambia match, SYNAFOC says!

According to a press release by Cameroon Footballers' Syndicate, SYNAFOC, GEREMI NJITAP (President of SYNAFOC) headed to the dressing room of the Indomitable Lions after their win against the Gambia to celebrate with them as other football legends have a habit of doing.

On his way into the dressing room, he met the President of FECAFOOT who greeted him "warmly" and then he proceeded towards the staff only to be stopped by one of the two security officers of FECAFOOT who, using ru.d.e and thre.a.te.n.ing words and saying he was acting on the instructions of the FECAFOOT President (who had left the area), wanted to grab him and send him out of the dressing room, the press release reads.

It continues to say NJITAP reacted calmly and the matter was closed but shortly after, he met the Director of Protocol of FECAFOOT who made use of the same ru.d.e and thr.eatening words, claiming he was acting on the same instructions and even suggested he would apply physical force if NJITAP did not vacate immediately. The press release adds that this Director of Protocol was even told by some onlookers that NJITAP could not be considered an intruder.

SYNAFOC, through its press release, reminds everyone that GEREMI NJITAP (two-time AFCON champion) was a personal guest of CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe and of FIFA Legends, and his status permitted him to have free access to all areas in the Bouaké stadium including the dressing rooms.

There will be a SYNAFOC sitting in the days ahead to decide on the next step to take, the press release concludes.
