♻️Turning waste heat into green power.
In September 2022, AVIC INTL took on the UAE JSW waste heat power generation project. This project features a green energy-saving system that can harness the waste heat from cement plants and convert it into electricity. Once operational, it can reduce the power consumption of cement plants by around 35%, cut down carbon dioxide emissions by about 90,000 tons per year, save about 40,000 tons of standard coal, and bring remarkable economic and environmental benefits. 💪

On Aug. 26, the Lvmeng plant of AVIC Changhe Aircraft witnessed a milestone as its rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project successfully connected to the grid. The project, which has a partnership period of 20 years, boasts an installed capacity of 6 MW and a grid-connected voltage level of 10 kV. It adopts the model of producing and using electricity by itself, and sending any surplus power to the grid for other users to consume. Once operational, the project is expected to produce 6 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity and slash carbon dioxide emissions by more than 100,000 tons per year.

9 years ago, Wang Zuping, the deputy chief engineer of AVIC AIGE, led a team to Kenya. The friendliness, simplicity and warmth of the local people deeply impressed Wang. The five years of living there also condensed into Wang’s memory keyword of this experience: “MEMORABLE”.
In the Engineering Investigation Project of Nariobi-Malaba Railway Project in Kenya, the truck carrying the survey equipment, managed by Wang and his team, got stuck in the mud in the river valley and could not move. When Wang was at a loss, locals passing by came forward to help, and even the nearby farmers operating tractor for their field work took the initiative to offer their support.
As the truck was finally freed from the mud, the humble tricycle owner looked at Wang’s grateful eyes and said with a smile, “You came from China to help Kenya build, and the Kenyan people also want to help the Chinese people.”

In 2016, Du Jinsheng, an engineer of AVIC AIGE, met his Tajikistan friend “Wang Sanshi” for the first time, and the word “FRIENDSHIP” has therefore become his keyword for this unforgettable experience.
In the Engineering Investigation Project of Tajikistan-China Gas Pipeline (Line D) Tunnel, unknown risks and difficulties stressed Du out. “Wang Sanshi”, a geological expert from Tajikistan, has been of great help to Du’s project team, often accompanying Du to construction sites and offering him advice and ideas. With the help of “Wang Sanshi”, the members of the project team overcame the difficulties and completed the investigation tasks ahead of schedule.

Across a thousand mountains and rivers, we walk hand in hand, moving forward together. We look forward to a more extensive cooperation in various fields between China and partner countries, and joint efforts to promote mutual learning and innovative integration of civilizations.

Recently, the EPC project of Beijing Aero Engine Services Company Limited contracted by the AVIC-APC successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony in Beijing.
The project is located in the Airport Economic Zone of Capital Airport in Shunyi District, Beijing, with a total area of approximately 84,000m2 and a total new construction area of approximately 59,000m2. It is planned to be put into operation by 2026. Once completed, the project will further promote the concentrated development of aviation services, high-end manufacturing, technical R&D and other industries in the Airport Economic Zone of Capital Airport.

This large international airport stands proudly as a magnificent sight in the southwestern region of Iraq and a source of hope and well-being for local residents in the future.
