In November 2023, the FAT and delivery of an electrode engineering equipment designed and manufactured by KATOP for a leading new energy customer in Europe were successfully completed. The original plan was for 7 days, but in reality, it only took 2 days to pass the FAT. And it took only 5 months from signing to delivery, breaking the delivery time record of overseas project again, marking that KATOP's delivery ability of overseas project have entered a new level.

The new design model for Europe delivered this time is not only designed and manufactured in accordance with international standards, but also incorporates local cultural elements into the appearance, which is deeply loved by the customer. Differentiated design centered on customer needs is our unremitting pursuit.

Customer satisfaction comes not only from excellent products, but also from considerate service. In order to better respond to customer needs, we have established a global marketing and service system.

From import substitution to "going global", KATOP experienced the stages of coming into being, catching up and surpassing of China's lithium battery industry. In the future, we will continue to work hard and contribute to a zero-carbon society for mankind!

In July, the installed capacity of power batteries in China reached 32.2GWh, a yoy growth of of 33.3%, QOQ -2.0%. Among that, NCM is around 10.6GWh, accounting for 32.8%; LFP reports at 21.7GWh, accounting for 67.2%.

On August 3, data released by SNE Research, a market research organization, showed that from January to June this year, the global newly registered power battery installations were 304.3GWh, a year-on-year increase of 50.1%. 📊

On July 5, the latest data released by South Korean research institute SNE Research showed that from January to May 2023, the global installed capacity of power batteries was 237.6GWh, a year-on-year increase of 52.3%.

On June 5th, SNE Research released its latest research report: From January to April of 2023, the global power battery holding of electric vehicles (EVs, PHEVs, HEVs) was approximately 182.5GWh, a year-on-year growth of 49.0%. Chinese enterprises continue to take the lead. CATL continued to dominate the list with a share exceeding 65Gwh, an increase of 55.6% year-on-year. BYD has steadily grown in China through vertical SCM integration such as internal battery supply and vehicle manufacturing, and has also achieved explosive growth in other regions such as Europe and Asia, ultimately achieving a performance of 29.4Gwh, a year-on-year increase of 108.3%.

The latest statistics from SNE Research show the global installed EV battery capacity reaches 133.0 GWh in Q1 2023, a yoy increase of 38.6%. Although that records a slight decrease compared to the previous year, it still maintains a solid upward trend. CATL holds the 1st, BYD stays 2nd with more than doubled growth and LG ranks the 3rd .
