Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump Installation

The vacuum pump must be installed in a place with a clean environment and dry air. The room temperature should be between 5-40°C. The large pump must be bolted to a solid cement foundation.

When the pump is running normally, the oil level in the oil tank should be kept at the oil level line and must not be exceeded. The method of injecting vacuum oil from the suction port is also adopted.

The clean vacuum oil will clean the parts in the lubricating pump, making it run more lightly.

Rotary vane vacuum pumps are mostly medium and small vacuum pumps.
There are two types of rotary vane vacuum pumps: single stage rotary vane vacuum pumps and two stage rotary vane vacuum pumps. The so called two stage rotary vane vacuum pump is to connect two single-stage pumps in series in structure. Generally, two-stage vacuum pumps can reach more higher vacuum degree.

Rotary vane vacuum pump is an oil-sealed mechanical vacuum pump, which is one of the most basic vacuum obtaining equipment in vacuum technology.

Structure

The rotor is eccentrically inserted into the stator cavity. There are two vanes in the rotor slot, and the vane spring is placed between the two vanes. The intake and exhaust ports on the stator are separated into two parts by the rotor and the vane.

When the rotor rotates in the stator cavity, under the combined action of the spring tension and its own centrifugal force, the end of the rotor slides against the inner wall of the pump cavity, periodically expanding the inner volume of the cavity on the inlet side and sucking in gas at the same time. Gradually reduce the volume of the exhaust port, compress the inhaled gas, and then discharge it from the exhaust port to achieve the purpose of pumping.
