Stone…Dave Stone. Much like James Bond, Dave Stone keeps coming back better and better! This time he has added trumpet player extraordinaire Jeremy Sinclair, master of the bass Fred Gr***de, and tickler of the ivories Michael Compton.

With his new updated look, Stone has added even more talent to a band already loaded with gifted musicians. The sextet will be making their debut at the Pearl on Sunday, January 16th, for an exciting concert to start off the new year.
As a fixture of the Shanghai music scene, Dave has drawn a huge following by performing around town, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Cotton Club band and the Red Stars band.

He is the star of the highly successful Ed Sheehan Show performing in the lead role. He also performs as the highly energetic Angus Young of AC/DC in the Monsters of Rock show and as a member of the Pink Floyd show.
With the Stone, he continues to deliver foot stomping blues and psychedelic rock singing lead and playing slide guitar.

By adding Sinclair, Gr***de, and Compton, to Stone veteran trumpeter Toby Mak and drummer Edward Hart, prepare to have a rock roaring time.

The Pearl is excited to bring you an evening dedicated to Ladies Rock and those that love their music with a tribute rendition of Avril Lavigne & Pink.
Avril Lavigne burst onto the scene in 2002, with her infectious brand of rock punk. On stage, she is known for playing shows unapologetically with rebellious abandon. She scored a No.1 hit with the single "Complicated"; a catchy tune detailing the difficulties found in most relationships. For more than a decade, she enjoyed great success with hits such as “Sk8er Boi” and “I'm With You.”
Pink made pop rock music edgy with both her lyrical content and high wire theatrics during live shows. She is a fearless crusader in raising the awareness of the contribution women have made to the music scene. Known for hits such as “There You Go,” “Raise Your Glass” and “What About Us”, she is known for putting on great shows.
Just like Avril and Pink, the Pearl is also known for the quality of their live concerts and this one is no different. Come celebrate these ladies of rock performed by the Red Stars band as they deliver the hits. Produced by Fire Souls (those saucy seductresses that brought you “Tricks & Treats” and “The Grinch”), Down The Rabbit Hole Adult Circus and Cabaret Show is a performance like no other and can only to be found at the Pearl.
This is a special evening that belongs to denizens of the dark, where bizarre and beautiful creatures co-mingle on a journey through Wonderland.

Tickets for the Down The Rabbit Hole Adult Circus and Cabaret Show are 180 RMB (early bird) and 220 RMB at the door (if there are any left). The James Bond franchise is best remembered for a dapper leading man, gorgeous women, death-defying stunts, and an epic songbook.
The Pearl is proud to present 3 out of the 4 to you for an evening of James Bond classics delivered by the man with the golden voice. Otherwise, known as man about town Bray, Frank Bray, and backed by a big band.
A well-healed crowd will be on hand as Frank provides the powerful vocals to Bond classics.
In addition, the Pearl will also be introducing its newest chanteuse, K-one, as she compliments Mr. Bray on delivering the hits.
Blessed with a strong voice that matches her beauty, K-one will mesmerize the audience with her range and soulfulness. Expect songs from Goldfinger, For Your Eyes Only, Thunderball, Diamonds are Forever and Spectre, just to name a few.
Of course, there will be a smattering of Sinatra standards thrown in to round out an evening of sophisticated refinement.
Band leader Rolf Becker will be at the helm of a 17-piece big band that will be put through their paces due to the demanding nature of the Bond canon.
Being that it is Halloween, Count/Chef Baidas will present a menu inspired by the occasion. Tickets can be purchased for RMB 220 (early bird) or RMB 250 at the door. They can be purchased via WeChat by scanning the QR code or at the door. Doors open at 6pm, happy hour is from 6 to 8 pm, the Concert is at 9pm.
