UL8802 now serves two types of UVC products:
1. Upper room (UVGI)
2. Germicidal systems
and GK has solutions for both!

For the UVC product that is tested to RG0 in accordance with IEC 62471, it can be used with people staying in the same room; while if the result is not RG0, it has to be equipped with a germicidal system to meet UL8802 standard. Please find below for more details 😊

A good read on UL8802 certification that you should know in UVC field. This standard was not issued till September, 2020, and is specifically to address safety requirements for germicidal equipment and systems that the industry developed in response to COVID-19.
