AN/PVS-7 is a monocular night vision device developed in the United States, using a third-generation image intensifier tube. This night vision device was developed with the goal of replacing the AN/PVS-5 night vision device that has been equipped with the US military since the Vietnam War. "AN/PVS" is a code name based on the standards of the Joint Electronic Equipment Nomenclature System and is the abbreviation of "Army/Navy Portable Viewfinder."

The PVS-31 is a lightweight and compact third-generation night vision device that is currently being adopted by the U.S. Special Operations Command under the name AN-PVS-31A to replace the old AN/PVS-15 night vision binoculars. Visual instrument. Among the many binocular night vision devices, the PVS-31 is the lightest and smallest. The application of low-light night vision lens
