Chongqing Science and Technology Museum is located in the central business district of Jiangbeizui. It is a modern, comprehensive and multi-functional large-scale popular science education venue for the public. It was completed and opened on September 9, 2009.
The project is jointly designed by Chongqing Design Institute and French A·S Architecture Studio. It covers an area of 37 acres and has a construction area of 48,300 square meters. The exterior is made of stone and glass. The stone on the exterior wall is crossed and overlapped with various colors, like a hard rock, which is a metaphor for "mountain"; the glass curtain wall, which accounts for 60% of the entire exterior wall and nearly 10,000 square meters, is clear and transparent, which is a metaphor for "water". The combination of mountains and water just rightly highlights the characteristics of Chongqing as a city of mountains and rivers.
The exhibition area of Chongqing Science and Technology Museum is 29,900 square meters. With the theme of "Life, Society and Innovation", there are 6 themed exhibition halls of life science and technology, disaster prevention technology, transportation technology, national defense technology, aerospace technology and basic science, and children's science and technology. There are two thematic exhibition halls of Paradise and Industrial Light, as well as a temporary exhibition hall, a youth science dream workshop, as well as an IMAX giant-screen cinema, a 4D dynamic cinema and an XD interactive cinema.

The basic exhibition of the Natural Museum consists of six major exhibitions: Animal Planet, Dinosaur World, Landscape City, Earth Mystery, Life Torrent, and Ecological Homeland. Chongqing Grand Theater is located in Jiangbeizui CBD, with a total
construction area of 104,500 square meters, 7 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. The auditorium has a total of 2,764 seats, including 1,826 seats in the Grand Theater and 938 seats in the Middle Theater. The Chongqing Grand Theater started construction on January 28, 2007 and was completed on September 6, 2009. It has won the China Construction Engineering Luban Award, the China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award,
and the 100 Classic Projects of the 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up. The project is jointly designed by German GMP Architects and East China Architectural Design and Research Institute, and the famous designer Meinhard von Gerkan is the chief designer of the project. The architectural design plan is named "Jiangshan Yacht". The designer turned the Chongqing Grand Theater into a crystal clear yacht, with the bow facing Jiangbeizui, echoing the Chaotianmen, which is also a boat. The two entrances face

Founded in 1929, Chongqing University (CQU) is a national key comprehensive university under the direct leadership of Chinese Ministry of Education (MoE).

Located in Chongqing Municipality, an economic and industrial center in southwestern China and on the upper reach of Yangtze River, CQU has 4 campuses, covering a total area of 350 hectares, making a wonderful place for learning and research with beautiful environment and well-equipped facilities.
