From April to May, indulge in unlimited mangoes and avocados for free, amidst encounters with respectful neighbors from the indigenous Cogi Tribe or Afro-American Origin. During your stay, a leisurely 20-minute stroll from your home brings you to the main road, with numerous restaurants, places, bars, and small shops within the vicinity. Alternatively, call our trusted motorbike taxi friends for a swift ride to your desired destination.

Essential details for your arrival in our jungle retreat:

1. Travel from Santa Marta to "El Trompito" valley offers three options:
- Taxi to "Trompito Malla Verde" at "Km28 Via Troncal de Caribe." Ensure not to pay more than 110,000$ COP unless it's nocturnal or from the airport.
- Professional transport organized by us through Asotayrona at the same cost as taxis.
- Traditional bus, colored green-white-blue, departing every 15 minutes between 6 am & 6 pm from various locations. Fare to "Trompito Malla Verde" is 8,000$ COP. It leaves from Santa Marta's Central Market Place, from the Avenida El Libertador, from the Shopping Mall "La Buena Vista" and from the "Glorieta El Mamatoco".

Special Tip: If hungry, ask the driver to drop you off at "Plaza Tayrona" for dining options.

2. When checking in, contact our trusted motorbike taxi friends to transport your luggage. They charge 10,000$ COP to the wooden stairway of Marius' House or 11,000$ COP to leave it at the doorstep.

3. Depending on weather and mood, consider taking a second motorbike taxi for yourself or a 20-25 minute walk uphill to the Trompito Valley.

4. For car travelers, use an SUV or 4x4 to reach our villa. Alternatively, park at Plaza Tayrona or the small Parking Lot right next to "Trompito Malla Verde," charging 10,000$ COP per night.

If no one is available in an exceptional Situation, You would simply find the Motorbike Taxi Drivers walking into the Entrance "Trompito Malla Verde" and descending 20 Seconds the shadowy & refreshing Path towards the River Bank where the Guys sit and wait with their Motorbikes wearing green, long Sleeves. Most of them a very friendly Dudes and like to joke around with You 🙂
We definitely to not recommend that You try to walk to the House carrying your heavy Luggage because it is a 15-25 Minutes Walk uphills and the Road is unpaved!

3. Depending on the Weather, your Fitness Level & Mood, You either also take a second Motorbike Taxi for yourself, in Addition to the Motorbike that transports your Luggage, or You enjoy a brisk 20-25 Minutes Walk uphill the Valley Trompito. 4. If You travel by Car, You should have an SUV or 4x4 in Order to reach our Villa easily. Otherwise, We recommend You to park your Car at the Plaza Tayrona or the green Bambooshop that is right next to the Entrance of "Trompito Malla Verde". They charge 10.000$ COP per Night.

The following Details about your Arrival to our Jungle will be essential for You:

1. There are several Ways to travel from Santa Marta to our Valley which is called "El Trompito".

Usually it will be a relatively short and comfortable Trip that takes 30-60 Minutes. Here are the 3 differents Ways that We recommend You to choose from:
- Take a Taxi of your Choice to the "Trompito Malla Verde" at "Km28 Via Troncal de Caribe" which is located 1km before arriving to the Main Entrance of the Tayrona Park. You should not pay more than 110.000$ COP to your Driver unless it is a nocturnal Service or unless You come from the Airport or another distant Place. Our Neighbourhood is called "Trompito Alto" and "Trompito Malla Verde" is its Entrance.
- Ask Us to organize for You a professional Transport by the authorized & licensed Business and trusted Friends from Asotayrona who have excellent Cars & very professional, well-behaving Drivers. We like to travel with them ourselves. They will charge the same Price as the Taxis.
- If You prefer a more traditional & adventurous Method, You may take the casual Green-White-Blue-colored Bus that leaves every 15 Minutes between 6am & 18pm from the Main Market District close to the historical Center of Santa Marta. Alternatively, You can also catch it from the Avenida El Libertador, the Shopping Center "La Buena Vista" or from the Traffic Roundabout "Glorietta de Mamatoco". The Price is 8.000$ COP until the "Trompito Malla Verde".

Special Tip: If You arrive hungry, ask the Driver or the Bus to drop You off 100m earlier at the small Shopping Mall "Plaza Tayrona" where You can find a nice Pizza Place, the Buca Restaurant with a common, popular Menu, a Colombian Pharmacy and some more.
