Happy Monday! 😆 We hope you’re continuing with self care every week, today is nail care 👌🏼 Lemon essential oil is one of the most easily recognized oils because of its refreshing, energizing and uplifting scent. The health benefits of lemon oil can be attributed to its stimulating, calming, astringent, detoxifying, antiseptic, disinfectant and anti-fungal properties. Aside from being a great add on to today’s self care recipe, it’s also one of the many wonderful essential oils in our Complete Care Serum ❤️
Hey everyone! We hope you’ve been enjoying these recipes and that you’ll keep up with the self love & care moving forward! Today we finish the week off with Hair Care 😆 •Step 1: massage scalp with high quality hair loving oil the night before, or at least one hour before washing (our complete care serum is great if you have it) •Step 2: replace shampoo with a mix of 3 teaspoons of baking soda into about 1 cup of water, wash hair and rinse well. •Step 3: replace conditioner with a mix of 1 cup of apple cider vinegar into 1 cup of water, add about 5 drops of essential oil, leave for 10 minutes and rinse well (frankincense, rosemary or lavender oils are great options that compliment hair care) •Step 4: (if you have on hand) apply some of our Vitamin C - Sun & Swim Spray, the soothing effects of the sandalwood work to harmonize the effects of the sun and elements on your hair. Today’s self care recipe is for the feet! A deliciously smelling and easy to make coffee foot scrub. Using the left over grinds from your morning coffee (usually about a 1/4 cup) add the same amount of coconut oil, and, if you have available some peppermint or citrus essential oil. Mix well, scrub your feet and you can finish with some high quality oil like our Complete Care Serum. Another great tip we have related to the feet today is to practice GROUNDING, it’s a well known very old practice, simply find a place you can put your bare feet directly on the ground and stay for a few minutes. Hi everyone! We have decided to share easy at home daily self care routines this week (we’ll be covering the whole body from toes to head!) Today is about nail care and below is an amazing nail brightening soak, here’s the recipe: •1 tsp sea salt •1 tsp baking soda •60 ml water (If you have essential oils on hand) •5 drops tea tree essential oil •5 drops lemon essential oil - Just soak, scrub gently and rinse. We love to use organic apple cider vinegar. We use it for cooking and drink it sometimes for health, but it is also exceptional when used topically. ACV is full of vitamins, minerals and good acids for your skin, face, hair and wounds. It restores and rebalances the acidity in our skin while being exfoliating and astringent. Always dilute 50% when using on skin. It makes a great skin toner and you can add essential oils too!

Two Sisters Organic Beauty
We are two sisters, Ashley and Brooke, who have always loved caring for each other and using nature’s gifts to live healthier lives. After living apart for years, we reunited in our 30s and now both live in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica, where nature and beauty surround us. Over the years, we have ditched most of our conventional beauty and self-care products and we are replacing them with natural, botanical and medicinal oils and ingredients that we feel will more deeply nourish our whole system, connect us to nature and promote the more natural beauty and health that we believe in. We are excited to work together, and we have already come up with two special products- our Complete Care Serum and our Vitamin C Sun Spray- and we want to offer more unique products soon, as well as workshops and events!
Ashley and Brooke were raised in the tropics in Costa Rica, connected to plants and natural remedies. For years, Ashley lived on a permaculture farm, where she completed a degree in Ethnobotanical studies and launched a line of plant tincture remedies as part of a local women’s group aiming to rescue and maintain the plant medicine wisdom of the region.
At Two Sisters, we source our ingredients from a local manufacturer and distributor, although some of them are originally sourced in their native countries of origin.
