Songwriting comes from projecting from life-experiences or moments of creative inspiration. Song writing for me is a bit like keeping a creative diary, there's nothing worse that having an idea and not being able to record it before it's lost (like not being able to recall the dream you woke up to in the morning). I write these songs and hope they somehow find their way to help, inspire, inform or move others... the same way other people's music helps to inspire, motivate or comfort me.
