Part 2:
So, after 4 hours of scraping....
Wall damage, minor.
Ceilings in bathroom and bedroom... Worse than expected.
Underside of porch.... Completely blown and in need of replastering!!
Ceiling at top of stairs and landing... The worst I've ever had to deal with......
The landing will need a complete replastering!!!!!
All this because the owners couldn't do a €200 job to seal the roof!!!!
Why, oh why don't they just do a little preventative maintenance from time to time?!?!?!?!

Trimmed this palm tree, with it's razor sharp, swordfish like stems on the fronds.
It's a tough job but someone's gotta do it 🌴😁

Fitted these bright shelves to match the lovely flowers at Arocaria Flowershop

Some serious damage to the ceilings. Scraped out all the damaged areas, sealed, filled, sanded, resealed and a few coats of paint.... All good now

Sealed up this badly leaking roof; it was back to bare concrete in places. Should keep the water out for a few years.
Now to repair the internal damage...

Tidied, pruned and weeded this front garden. And pruned a whole orchard full of olive and fruit trees!!!

Another regular visit done, to keep this lovely garden all tidy. Pruned, weeded, grass cut, leaves collected.

So, I sometimes wonder about how people think?....
I had a call that there was no water in this house, pointing to the fact, usually, that the cold water tank is empty, caused mostly by the ballcock being stuck closed, thus allowing no water to fill the tank.
But on checking, I found a rusty and snapped off pipe, which supplies an outside tap.
So, somebody had a mishap and broke off this pipe, leading to a big leak. So they turned off the main supply tap to the whole house!!!
So, did they tell anyone that they closed the water supply to the house? NO, nobody !!
It stopped the leak, but also stopped the supply of water to the tanks.
How many days does it take to empty a 500 litre tank?....
So the supply has been stopped for a few days. And nobody knew!!
It doesn't matter if a mishap occurred and the pipe broke....
Tell someone!!!
This could have lead to much more serious problems:
Airlocks, blown immersion element, burnt out water pump....
If you have a mishap, tell someone so the problem can be fixed before serious damage is caused.

Clients now confident of security whilst away.

Brightened up this stairs and landing with 2 costs of white, to cover the magnolia. Looking clean and fresh now. Job jobbed
