I created this page to share my art, which includes embroidery and painting with fabric paint, on 2nd hand pieces, in order to bring them back to life so people can wear them again instead of buying new ones.

The fashion industry leaves a massive footprint on the planet. It contributes to 10% of global greenhouse emissions, and consumes more energy than the aviation and shipping industry combined.

The textile industry relies on mostly non-renewable resources - including oil - to produce synthetic fibers, fertilisers to grow cotton, and chemicals to produce, dye and finish fibers and textiles.

To make only one pair of denim jeans, 10,000 liters of water are required to grow one kilo of cotton. In comparison, one person would take 10 years to drink 10,000 liters of water.

So these (and many more) are reasons, enough to make us think what other more sustainable ways we should find to use clothes. Personally, I love art, and I am trying to live as sustainably as I can at this moment of my life, so recycling clothes seems like a wonderful idea.

Please when you get rid of pieces you don't want anymore, give me call and we can arrange a fair exchange!

I hope you like my work, and be absolutely free to be 100% honest with me of what you like or what you don't, because it is very important to me to keep progressing and improving my work, so I can't do that without honesty!

Peace n love ✌🧠
