You and your friends are invited to a unique concert. It's a rare opportunity to see and hear this wonderful Ukrainian chamber choir, making their first visit to Cyprus.
Svitoch Chamber Choir has already established themselves as one of the best Ukrainian choirs in England. Apart from singing the Holy Liturgy, their repertoire is made up of many current and traditional folk songs. Each member of the choir has previously sung in the best choirs in England.
As part of the "Millennium Choir from the United Kingdom" in 1988, many members of the Svitoch Choir took part in the celebration of 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Ukraine-Rus' at the Royal Albert Hall in London and at St Peter's Basilica in Rome, Vatican.
A few members travelled to Ukraine in 2014 and sang at the consecration of the main Ukrainian Greek Catholic Patriarchal Cathedral in Kyiv. We invite you to attend the concerts, which will be held in 4 cities over Cyprus with the final concert in Nicosia, 10 September, where representatives from many diplomatic missions in Cyprus will be present.
All events are free of charge. Donations are welcome.
